I cant believe you did not read the manual first then you know where and how to use the tray the right way. This cutter board also cuts any vegetables, cheese, etc.
I’ve lived in South Africa in 2012 and that is how I learned about Biltong. I became obsessed. It’s not until this year, before I made my own that reminded me of what I had in SA. I bought two slabs of “Biltong” from Stryve and I can tell you that it is NOT Biltong! Stryve is American beef jerky. Dried out to 100%. And the flavor has no South African ingredients. My best suggestion is to make it yourself. It’s super easy! I do it all of the time now. Look up Biltong from UA-cam channel, “2 guys and a cooler”. He does the best rendition of Biltong. Follow that, and you’ll never look back.

Bought the slab and just as he says that slab needs to be cut into thin slices or it’s really hard to chew I will never buy it again and don’t recommend anybody waste their money on it buy the pre sliced jerky it’s good and easy to chew.

Yeah this isn’t biltong lol. What you brought looks worse than jacks link jerky and that’s saying something. Biltong is absolutely delicious, if you ever find some real stuff don’t be put off because of this experience. I feel bad that you had to try this thinking it was real biltong 😬
This stuff is nasty. Bought a package with pre sliced “jerky” and the flavor was gross and had chunks of white fat attached to each piece that was hard to remove. Wasted my money
