I checked the frontage of the group moving south towards Kharkiv and we may be seeing a full Russian Mobile Battle Group entering into battle for the first time. Something to watch for because we have yet to see one in full operation.
What kind of manpower are we talking here?

From all the Ukraine people I talked to, they seem to not have a rational mind. The level of their fanaticism is probably needed to keep it going. Spectacularly similar to German fanatics in 1940s, and wearing same shoulder patches too! Their belief got transferred thru generations (1 or 2) and got revived when they acquired independence.
Most of these people most likely write not from Ukraine or have never been close to the front and have not communicated with soldiers. Therefore, such a gap with reality, when awareness comes, will really hurt.

The iskander strike on the patriot system and radar was an airburst
Some people were claiming it was a decoy but the full video showed the after math , the iskander strike also got a bunch of infantry hiding in the treeline behind it, more than likely its the crew unless the UAF are using live soldiers to make their decoys seem more authentic. But the patriot system looked way too detailed to be a decoy and the radar had moving parts prior to being hit.

S-300 was hit by the tornado-s guided munitions by the looks of it.
Almost as if the OSINT about the Ukrainian losses is accurate. The amount of movement by the Russian AF is only possible if there's no one defending.
It looks a further instalment in demilitarisation viz creation of a buffer zone inside Ukrainian border. There is no need to proceed to Kharkov - not now, anyway. R's Northern Army, which is relatively fresh, has mobilised 50K troops for this particular effort.

So far it’s looking like a major offensive. My impression was that the Russians didn’t yet have the manpower advantage needed for big arrow offensives, unless they were prepared to commit their strategic reserves (which I had assumed were being saved for NATO). Here’s hoping NATO will not push Russia to the nuclear precipice…
People keep underestimating the Russians or expecting them to do things their way. The Russians will likely push until they come up against a strong defensive position, take their time bombing it with artillery and FABs and then push somewhere else on the front. That seems to be what they often like to do

As of now for whatever the reasons why the Russians are doing this offensive one thing is objectively clear as of now.
They're doing a LOT better than Ukrainian Summer Offensive back in 2023.
In one day Russia took roughly the same amount of ground than Ukraine in 90 days.
