Yeah, it really looked like it was going to go that way. Otherwise, why have any focus on the lottery earlier in the story at all? Real strange.

Excellent story!!! I had to listen to it twice, read it once, and rewind it in all those tiny details that are so important for this story.
For those of you who don't have the time to listen to it several times or with a lot of attention, ( SUPER SPOILER ALERT), the story is about a supernatural building that makes you travel forwards or backwards in time depending on the direction you take in its hallway. I understood the floorplan of the building is round (imagine a circle with a belt of apartments in its outer side, then a hallway, and then at the center more apartments), if you walk counterclockwise you go to the past, if you walk clockwise you go to the future. OP lost his wife and he is trying to find her, there is a "security guard/supernatural time travelling being of sorts" that helps OP giving him instructions, but in the end OP goes back one extra lap than he needed to (he needed to go back 4 laps, but he did 5)
Is there a part 2, it sucks that the story ends here

chance2413 they say never to make fun of someone who mispronounces a word, because it means they learned it through reading. People who read a lot are definitely intelligent. Out of the thousands and thousands of words that he reads, he maybe mispronounces a couple. Those aren’t bad odds my friend.
The writer of this one is good. This was fantastic. You know a writer is good when you hear, or read, the story and can see it in your mind while listening or reading.

Wonder if anyone else gets this but. I spend a lot of time listening to creepypastas mainly in bed to sleep and most dont even sink in like I was not really listening but every once in awhile I hear a pasta that rily sinks in. This one did it for me its 4 in the morning and I was trying to sleep and now my heart is racing to hear the end

He contemplates blowing up the apartment complex to kill all the "possible" duplicates of himself, and Carl, and everyone else. End the haunts, or so he hopes. Maybe he still hopes to get the job, but be placed somewhere else to live in?
What's really confusing to me is, why did he encourage her to tell him about the job? Why not tell her not to? That would've ended the time shenanigans. Instead, he opts to say go for it, but then thinks he's have to FIGHT an army of himself for some reason.
TL;DR, he went insane and paranoid from the time shenanigans that the apartment complex put him through, and his reactions are no longer competant.

I don't get this one. I get that there was tine travel stuff happening but other than that I have no idea what was going on. I'd hear MCP's voice express tension and fear, so I'd figure something pivotal was happening. But I didn't get what or why it was pivotal. Except for people's skin sloughing off, which is gross and terrifying anyway. I DO get that much. But if anyone know what this story is about and can explain it ... please do, and thanks.
