Eating Our Way Around The Waldorf Astoria! | Is This The Best Resort In Orlando?

- In today's video we continue our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. Thank you so much to the Waldorf Astoria for inviting us out to show you guys what the hotel is all about. We start out the day by eating breakfast at Oscar's where Jenn tried the breakfast buffet and I tried the Eggs Benedict which, as legend has it, was invented at the Oscar's Brasserie in New York City. After breakfast we headed out to the pool where we enjoyed a private cabana with lunch delivered by Aquamarine the pool side bar. Jenn had the Mediterranean Kababs and I had the Chicken Salad wrap which was very similar to the Waldorf Salad I had the night before. After lunch we went to the spa where Jenn received a brightening facial and I had a deep tissue CBD massage. Both of which were very relaxing! We ended out our time in the spa with a trip to the Salt Therapy room. This was our first time in a salt room and it was a very interesting experience. We ended out the night with a formal dinner at The Bull and The Bear which is fashioned after The Bull and The Bear in the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This turned out the be the best food we have ever had. We were blown away by the service and the presentation, as well as the taste of the food. Every dish was phenomenal. What level room did they stay at? Not the room number, but was this standard or something else? Just curious. This looks like our ideal place to stay.
Such a good thing for the hotel to offer. It's the small things like that you don't mind paying extra for when the level of the quality is amazing.

Love how they go to so many different and "fancy" places and they are not pretending to be anyone else, but so humble.
That breakfast buffet is unreal. I mean, the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen. The fresh honey comb shows a very elegant and thorough attention to detail. Well done, Waldorf. Well done.

Meghan B I was thinking the same. I’m sad when the videos are 20-30 minutes. When it’s about to end I think to myself no Tim just 10 more minutes. Like hitting the snooze button and my mom yelling at me to get up and get ready for school. I yelled back just ten more minutes mom.

Same here! We are universal passholders and this makes me want to stay there at least once during one of our stays. Even if we have to drive. And tim make the massage sound ideal!

But what you get in return is amazing for that size of room, whereas you pay that and more for a standard at a Deluxe Disney Resort.
For my dates...WA is $100 cheaper than Grand Floridian (in peak summer season)! Yeah, it's still expensive, but on our past stays, we've found GF to be overrated...only good thing was the proximity to MK. I think this would be a refreshing change from staying on property. We're gonna try it out!

That breakfast buffet had me slobbering - and so clean!! That honey comb contraption was off the chain!! I love eggs Benedict too, but get the Hollandaise on the side, and do't want no yucky asparagus touching none of my plates!!! LOL You are getting SO much better at explaining your food, Tim - WTG!! I'd love to make my Key Lime Pie for you guys someday!
I love how careful, and thoughtful, Jenn is being to your baby!! Such great parents already!! That spa looked nest level awesome, and sounds like you guys really enjoyed it - you sure looked gorgeous dressed for dinner later, and very relaxed and refreshed!!
I know several people on the DIS Unplugged (which I've also followed for years, like you guys!) always RAVE about Bull & Bear, I would LOVE to try it! Id have to save up, but still. LOL. Those interactive menus are awesome! That fried chicken looked good, but I do not eat foie gras, so would ask for a different kind of gravy with mine, or have it without. I love chocolate and peanut butter too, Tim, and I was DROOLING, watching you eat this! I used to get those "expanding Disney washcloths" for guests who stayed at my apartment,and put them on their pillow, as a souvenir, and memory of their stay, kind of like a towel animal on a cruise ship! LOL

That dinner looked BEYOND amazing. I love going to restaurants where it's not just about getting full on mass-produced, bland food. Places like that are about the flavors and the textures and the experience.

A Frite is typically fried twice while a french fry is only fried once. Plus other differences like oil used and potatoes used. You both look amazing! I am so happy for you both!

Emma Ogunfowodu they said the room that they were in (which looked HUGE) was similar in price to a Disney deluxe resort... I think too expensive for me too... well more than I’m willing to pay (though hubby want to stay at Grand Floridian sometime) but seems reasonable
