if you mean, vikings werent bad people? then no facts and history is correct, the vikings raped half of england, it is why alot of people in the UK have viking descent. If this story is based on one viking who leaves the army for the creed, i will really like it tho

I like how the hidden blade is on the outer forearm rather than the inner forearm like the other games, so it's actually visible when used. Kinda shows that unlike other assassins, Vikings are fearless, up front, and prefer direct combat rather than discreet or stealthy approaches.
I like the trailer, again its hard to tell how the game is going to come out though. Although one thing that irks me is that i think some people have the wrong idea about what is an Assassin. Assassins are individuals who carry out killings of people high in power, usually for political or religious reasons. So, technically by definition, most characters you play are indeed Assassins.
AgitoJOKER thats not what fans mean when they say Assassin. By assassin they mean a person who is in the Brotherhood, what you said is just the definition of the word “assassin”.
Demi Videos I understand. However, what do fans think an Assassin of the Brotherhood is? A person who follows the creed? I’m not coming off as condescending. I’m genuinely curious.
AgitoJOKER just being a member of the Brotherhood, doesnt mean they have to be an “assassin” per se. The brotherhood over the world has had many different initiation rituals, whenever a person completes one he is considered an Assassin. Literally being part of the brotherhood means youre an assassin, and of course the brotherhood follows the creed
@@demivideos8887 So lets say this guy in the trailer is initiated and follows the creed. What makes this not seem like an Assassins Creed game? Thanks for being polite by the way :DDD
AgitoJOKER because the creed was made to protect the innocent from the shadows, not in plain sight. The vikings are pretty big dudes, people think that stealth is not even gonna be in the game because Ubisoft is changing the game too much. Odyssey didnt even have Assassins in it, thats also not an “assassins creed game”.

It's strange hearing ppl say Vikings aren't stealthy when their Raiding tactics are pretty much a prime example of early warfare stealth operations. I actually found out they were very stealthy. There was a type of Eosman called the Uthgardi, or wolf skins, that focused on stealth and cunning. They later became trainers and mercenaries, and their techniques make up the bulk of modern western military tactics involving stealth and recon.
Technically Eivor is using the hidden blade the actual right way, because Darius is the inventor of the hidden blade and he killed King Xerces by using it on top of his arm, not under, it was Bayek who put it on wrong but the assassin's continued to use it that way as no one knew how Darius used it, so yeah, fun fact
As usual, I love these cinematic trailers. I got distracted for a bit trying to figure out who the English King reminded me of, then I remembered - Luke Evans.
For some people that don’t understand, the person standing under the tree is one of odens spy’s, and one of the things they can do is turn into a raven, and when he says Odin is with us it is because they know Norse mythology. I hope this helps
I'm actually curious for this. I made some research and basically they used to turn great deeds in battle in songs and they would compete amongst each other who had the better song. Could your actions in gameplay alter your song?

The one that was here before you :P i mean that may not necessarily be true . the base plot is assassins vs templars . i think what ubisoft is trying to do is show how the templars conquered different lands and how the creed formed (formally and informally) in different stages and places in time . it may not be traditional ac but i mean , u dont have to be an italian hooded man in every ac game lol
@@alexanotsiri3375 no you dont have to be a hooded assassin in every game, but I prefer it and it's exactly how I imagine an assassin would look like. Assassin's Creed has had all eras of history, we've had medieval, native america/the revolutionary war, pirates, the french war, jack the ripper, ancient egypt, ancient greece, vikings. All we're missing now is an AC game placed in the stone age, a WWII AC game, and maybe a dinosaur AC game
You play a viking raider. They were responsible for going in on long ships designed to out maneuver other ships by getting raider in as fast as possible let them loot pillage and kill monarchs and their chain of command then getting out as quick as possible. That's a good entry point to making it a good stealht basis. Using controlled chaos to your advantage

@Redsiren its like bands...they sound the same it isnt good they try out something different it isnt good...the franchise has to evolve and tryout new things...otherwise you would just play the same game over and over again just with other skins....so lets see gameplay footage untill it comes out ...
As far as I know is this game supposed to be similar to Blag Flag. The protagonist is no Assassin per se but at some point in the story crosses paths with them and joins them at the end. And If they really plan to do it like that and if they manage to finally create a good Game again, they should continue this protagonist's story like how they did with Ezio. It's also said that this game is supposed to be the end of an era, which maybe means that Leila's story ends here.
"Dis isent asasynscreed, thys is baaaaad" All I say is this shit is fucking amazing. I am really excited to play some day this game. That was very epic, I honestly don't see the problem in this trailer, I only saw epicness and badass sequences everywhere. I loved this trailer and I love this franchise!
I honestly feel like the games combat can be like assassins creed 3 but to a more strategic approach. And even having naval activity like Odyssey but instead of boarding ships, you dock at shores and your whole crew and lieutenants get off and fight. Idk but what I do know is that I'm totally buying this. And maybe the bad guys are Templars so theres hope for AC old origins afterall. Also the hidden blade is back. Not as we know it but you have to move forward if you want to succeed and I personally like the hidden blade in this.
Apparently, Eivor's (the character) sex can be chosen by the player, but it will be the same character. I say this because, on Ubisoft's website, they have two figures of Eivor: one as a female and the other as a male. At least it isn't like Odyssey, where there are two different characters. As a female who enjoys history, I only played Kassandra due to her being canon. Now, I am tempted to play as a female Eivor since both versions are canon given they are the same character.

It's the same ppl who made Origins, so I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep diving and other AC traits. My favorite part of the trailer is also the contradiction between what the king is saying versus what they show. I think it's gonna make for an amazing story along with great game play. I'm thinking he's gonna have visions of Odin and Thor, probably Valkyries too, like Bayek had interactions with gods.
I look at this the same way I view odyssey; it’s a story that takes place in the same universe as the other games but not necessarily being about the assassins.
The one thing about this game I hope that Assassins creed Valhalla does is bring characters in like Ragnar Lothbrok, Ivan the Boneless, Eric the Red things like that would help bring more of what we’re the great Vikings during their time
They are bringing back some of the core elements from the older assassins creed games but just didn’t showcase that stuff in this cinematic... I believe may 10th or something a gameplay trailer is coming out and they’ll probably show more of the assassins stuff
By the way, an interesting fact - the main character receives a blessing from the priestess of the one-armed Tyr, the God of honor and war, which is then contrasted with the false words of the English king.
@@MisterSunshine17 yeah, I agree actually. I didnt look at the statue very closely ar first, and was just going off of what I thought the developers said. I looked closer, and I do see now that it is Tyr
“Vikings are normally seen as the bad guys” Bruh have you seen Vikings (the TV show) it’s only Viking perspective, that’s why I love them. Also “How will he do parkour” Why can’t a Viking do parkour or stealth, it’s definitely possible
If I remember. Greg you said the Crow is one of your favorite films? You should really consider doing : The Crow Retrospective Review by Oliver Harper. It's really interesting and well made review on the film, a lot of interesting facts you can also find about the film in that review video. Would love to see you and Jerry (if he seen the film) react to it. Only if you want too of course.
So the way I understand it is that the main character arrives in England with the rest of the Vikings and then ends up teaming up with/being recruited by the Brotherhood in England. Because the Templars rule England at the time.

By the way, an interesting fact - the main character receives a blessing from the priestess of the one-armed Tyr, the God of honor and war, which is then contrasted with the false words of the English king.
I think the blessing is from Odin. The dev's mentioned that the statue was of Odin I believe in a commentary
@@kalebmiller9579 but after all, the idol has one hand and both eyes in place, as for me, this is not very like Odin
@@MisterSunshine17 yeah, I agree actually. I didnt look at the statue very closely ar first, and was just going off of what I thought the developers said. I looked closer, and I do see now that it is Tyr
@@kalebmiller9579 nicely, friend))
dope purple watch
I live 30 miles from York be interesting to play as a viking in old jorvik can't wait 😁
this reminds me of for honor
Assassin Gang
I can’t wait for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla!
Ubisoft's trailers are so beautiful. Let's hope gameplay is good.
this AC is gonna hit different since i have Scandinavian decent.
“Vikings are normally seen as the bad guys” Bruh have you seen Vikings (the TV show) it’s only Viking perspective, that’s why I love them.
Also “How will he do parkour” Why can’t a Viking do parkour or stealth, it’s definitely possible
Kronk Pepikrankenitz they were actually quite stealthy up until the moment of combat- you didn’t know there was a raid until the church was burning
Man the game looks really good . Can’t wait to play it .
The bad guy during the fight as a scar like Ezio
Sitting in here on their channel clicking refresh over and over for this video.
Aw haha, well thank ya! Hope you dug it!!!
The Reel Rejects juice was worth the squeeze.
Now that's a reaction.
Vikings first move was Stealth and in from sweden
Fans: why you doing this? This isn't the old ac anymore!
Ubisoft: nothing is true, everything is permitted
Vikings, the videogame. I dig it!
I just miss the more Assassin's Creed aspect of it
Honestly might not be stealthy but it feels to me like the creed is very present
So the way I understand it is that the main character arrives in England with the rest of the Vikings and then ends up teaming up with/being recruited by the Brotherhood in England. Because the Templars rule England at the time.
Id totally rock the professor snape shoes lol
Haha hit the man up!!! @gearedtowardsink
Always good trailers so hopefully this one is good
What'd ya think?
@@ReelRejects Stepped away from the more assasains creed feel with more violence but still good. No assasains creed 3 tho.😂
Well this game story line take place as the last kingdom story time period. Which is the era of king Alfred.
Gameplay is may 7th cant wait
Am I the only one who wished movies looked like this
There is a lot of romancing of 9th or so century England lately with Vikings and the Saxons etc. I do not mind at all.
Also the game will be more gory than ever with actual dismemberment and other stuff like that confirmed
They may bring back what we sawin assassins creed 3 with tree climbing etc.
I better see a how to train your dragon reference 😤 (or honestly a for honor reference)
Idk
This looks fricken sick dude!
Right??
