- Former Gov. Bill Walker and former State Rep. Les Gara participated in a candidate forum put on by the Alaska Municipal League on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. Walker, an independent, and Gara, a democrat, are running for Alaska governor, along with current Gov. Mike Dunleavy, who was invited but did not attend.
Let them people leave Gara! Our free money was their main motivation to move to Alaska to begin with. Let them all go back to their roots. The majority of them treat the locals like they are less, so I dont think anyone cares if people leave. It sure won't be Alaskans.
What is not discussed is some are put in protection. What we are seeing is the parent taking responsibility or blame for whatever may have happened that lead to them putting them in protection. The matter of putting children in local witsec is still of matter.
