Les Gara is an empty suit. He has brought nothing to the table.

Just based on what I heard during this debate, I preferred Pierce.

I tend to agree. However, the longer this ranked choice process plays out the higher the chance of Gara or Walker getting the win. Going to have to rank Dunleavy 1st in hopes of getting him over the 50% threshold in the first round.

@@jmb8783 You can rank Pierce first and the governor second, the whole point of ranked choice is to remove this necessity of tactical voting.

Alaska is an all redstate they should have all gop candidates you have a bigger chance of winning the lotteri as a dem than becoming governor. I dont think Alaska has ever had a dem governor;)).

In the early 2000s, Tony Knowles, (a Democrat) was the Governor of Alaska. Not to mention that Alaska being an “all red state” is completely unfactual, especially given that in the last gubernatorial election, the Republican candidate did not get over 55% of the vote. Nearly half of Alaska would vote for a Democrat. Furthermore, Democrats have a coalition majority in Alaska’s State House of Representatives, and elected a Democrat, Mary Peltola, as their at-large U.S. Representative. There is no way you can seriously say that Alaska is an “all red state”

I caught this online and it was too hard to watch Mr Garza is so angry and so mean and everybody else was so polite but there's no way that I could vote for somebody that mean or I could listen to a body of people trying to debate something when somebody would be that mean
