Nice fun gift exchange. Omg I got the same Nausicaa box set for my friend too! Movie was good but it only scratches the surface of the entire story (I think only covers vol 1+2 of the original 7... same goes for Akira movie vs manga). Manga is so good. The earphone jack keychain... er, you guys might be too young to remember earphone jacks on phones😄

Hey I actually have a recommendation for your friend. Since she is looking to do more physical manga she should look into Battle Angel Alita. It has beautiful artwork, stellar story. It's a bit gritty and the world is in a cyberpunk setting. Yu yu hakusho is such a gem from that Era of anime. Happy holidays guys.

Wipeout has the coolest designs! I love that era of graphic design. The Extreme g series and ridge racer type 4 / 5 have a similar vibe too!
