I personally know someone who had surgery for a brain aneurysm and ended up being very creative. She started doing arts and crafts which she was never interested in before.

when i was about 6 ish my older sister threw a baseball at my face hitting between my eye and temple. i grew up with learning disabilities and issues with thinking and have a worsening memory/ motor skills. Not necessarily caused by that, tho i have had a lot of head injuries that probably contributed. as far as i can remember i was never taken to a dr, i just cried a lot. kinda wish it gave me better creativity, i used to draw a lot as a kid, and i still do but i struggle with being creative and coming up with ideas as i age which im sure is pretty normal lol. why couldn't i bed one of those people who have improved in creativity with head trauma? xD so unfiar

When I was 3, I fell down stairs and busted my head on a cement work out bench. My mother took me to a doctor to make sure I was not concussed. I wasn’t but could speak in full sentences like an adult. I have a near eidetic memory now even with my working short term memory being shot. I see numbers, dates, and letters in colors and in a spatial pattern causing me to remember dates, calculate math equations easily, and remembering how to spell things very well. I have a very high IQ. All with still having ADHD that went undetected until I was 24. A good knock on the head can do some good.

You people should check him out! 😊 He was also featured in the late Oliver Sacks' great book 'An Anthropologist on Mars: Seven Paradoxical Tales'
