In 1985 I walked into a PX in Tague, Korea. Purchased my first CD ever. D.A.C.'s Greatest Hits. I didn't even have a Cd player to play it in at the time. Still have that Cd to this day.
DAC is one of my favorites...you wouldn’t recognize Taegu anymore...what an incredible improvement...Camp George was handed over to the Korean Government.

I have the vinyl album, since 1979(I think). In 1987 I had one of his prison tapes, till my Christian wife found it in 1990🙁

Actually he don't like those old songs because people took him for a comedy singer or comedian for so long but he has written so many good songs for others and sung many great songs himself, him and my father in law were good friends and did time together and we used to get into his shows free and I've met him a handful of times he really is an artist and ended up right where he belonged on the stage doing outlaw country
I have to admit, that when a friend of mine played me some of his x rated stuff I was beyond shocked that stuff like that even existed. I mean this stuff was hardcore. I wont even write the names of some of the songs on here. At the time I had no idea how racist this guy was, after hearing some of those songs, there was very little doubt about how racist he was, which was VERY, VERY racist. For some reason country music has seemed to overlook those x rated, racist albums he made, and seemed to just focus on the mainstream stuff.
you can call him racist, but his drummer and bass player for last twenty years are blacker than ace of spades... and DAC calls those men brothers.

I do believe actually that's what it was because she wasn't allowed to wear makeup and she wanted to wear some makeup. And yeah I can't remember who her husband was that played in the movie. But yeah so listen to David Allan Cole. I mean I've listened to him for oh my gosh just like I've listened to kid Rock Godsmack Marilyn Manson Rush led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Clarence Clearwater Lynyrd Skynyrd I can go on and on and on and on and tell you the who.
