ive put up miles of that crap, been hurking block and pavers for 25 years, D-Boss that stuff is bad for your sackradilliac! layed down 360 sq’ of some dumb heavy 3 piece pavers yesterday from 11:00- 2:30 solo, i feel like tyson was clubbing on me for like 10 seconds, let me tell ya i was 25 when i picked up my first paver so you know my age, my best advice is when you get the calls for it bid twice as high as everyone and your body will thank you…great video and nice job!
Hey, no fair! You snuck this one in so quickly after the last - BUT - we thank you. Quite the "art" you have with your hands - TALENT & YEARS of Experience & like the song, ("Breaking Rocks In The Hot Sun"). Nice job buddy and I'd bet with much smaller hammers you'd make a GREAT diamond cutter! Very little YOU can't do & Thanks! Sonny
Nice Wall, I did a wall in my front yard that was around 75 ft long and the face style of your block looked like mine. The blocks I used were solid and had holes in them to slide in plastic Pins to lock it together. The blocks weighed a ton and lucky me a Truck crashed in it and I got to do it again. and then a car crashed into it only had to do a minor repair that time.
Nice job! I like that screeding technique with the material to fine tune that base. Would probably work well for a paver walkway too to get that last little bit of nice nice grading.
It's the DIRT BOSS 😎 YEAH buddy on a new site 😁 setting it up then Back on site getting it Done and Back on site to make it pretty YEAH buddy it's just a little wall but done Properly and Done by the DIRT BOSS 😎 YEAH 🌟 it Looks Great 👍 Real Nice job there and Thank U DIRT BOSS 😎 for the Great video 💪 😎 👍
This looks awesome, but I'm a bit surprised it doesn't need to be anchored in any way from behind. Would you have to anchor it if it was a higher wall? I'm not even sure how you would do that with block.
I set 2 string lines. One in front of the block and one in the back. Took my time and set the first course as perfect as possible like you did. Second, third, and forth course of block was still off. Had about a half inch sag in the middle of my wall. I tore it all down and restarted.I had to string line every course and add a little sand underneath to level out some of the blocks. It's weird but I cannot just stack them and get a straight wall. What am I doing wrong?
Yeah I made grade with a string line and then set the first course with string lines. Pulled them as tight as possible. I start stacking the second course and after a few blocks, suddenly one will be a quarter inch higher than the last one. I even grinded out some of the rough spots on the blocks to make them as flat as possible. I guess I'll just keep string lining every course. It's just weird because most videos I've watched on UA-cam make it look so easy. They get the first course perfect and then just start stacking the rest. The walls always look tight and perfect. My wall always has blocks that teether totter here and there. Well, thanks for the response. I liked your video. Keep up the good work.
How tall of a wall did you go here without Geogrid? I need to go 3-4’ but don’t have room behind it for fabric so need to go with system that does not need geogrid.
Boss, I’ve put in several different stacked block walls. I haven’t tried that style before. I like having the interlock at the top. The ones with the tang at the bottom are a pain in the tail to start! Nice N’ Nice work.
Great to find a quality channel from a local
Thanks Man
The Boss is back.

Nice job will look great when they have you pour some slabs in front of the garage !
For sure
Great job I just like to ask what kind of block is that and where to get it from I like that color awesome job

Looks great but why didnt they have you build to the level at the building all the way out so no one drives off the end.
Not sure That's what the landowner wanted
Look great
Thanks

Looks great can you come for the weekend & build one at my house? LOL.Good video
Let's do it

Not sure...your base is dead level right? Also make sure that string is super tight.. I have other videos on retaining walls also take a peek

You are multi talented dirt boss.
Thanks buddy
Been enjoying your videos the last couple days but does that drain even do anything? looks like the discharge is uphill from where you laid the pipe.
The pipe is there for precaution anything behind the wall it will come out
Great looking wall. How do you do your bids?
Square foot plus excavation
@@DIRT-BOSS perfect. I am just starting out and have been doing similar. Still trying to find the right price/Sq ft, but we will get there.
@@scott810206 it all depends from where you're from cost of materials but start at $25-$30 per square no less..
@@DIRT-BOSS great. Thanks again for the advice.

You'll be fine without geogrid I had none in this wall Just put enough stone full stone
@@DIRT-BOSS hell yeah thanks man
What's the weight on one of those blocks?
75lbs
I make it look so easy.👍🤔
Thanks

Nice N’ Nice work.
Thanks SV
Nice lipstick.
😁
That came out good ! Want to come to the Cape and do a cobble job for me ! 😂
⛱️ 😁
You do excellent work. Too bad its not at easy as The Boss makes it look!
Thanks Man
Nice fast filler job hopefully Collin is learning??????? I never got lucky enough to lay any of those blocks!!! And I’m not sorry about that!!!!!!
I hear that they are heavy
There's no barrier to stop people falling from the higher ground level. Lethal. This troubles me.
There is now they put up guardrail when they repaved the parking lot
Nice job. What does something like that cost Mike?
Not much little wall
Holy shit, is there anything that you don’t do?😂😂😂
Not sure let's put it to a challenge lol
Poor quality work!
😂😂😂
Trabajos todos mal hechos
Great video 👍
Thanks
