Dan great job, thanks so much for being a pillar of preservation, I am in my own battle saving an 18th century town in New Jersey USA, our thoughts and prayers are with your effort. Gregg
a short walk around this remarkable area should be enough to convince anyone of the importance of Norton Folgate. Commentators may inveigh against the barbaric destruction of museums and monuments in Iraq and Syria, but are those who bend the rules at the Mayor's office any better ?
I was a teenager in London in 1970's and used to cycle around a lot... and the destruction was so full on. CRIMINAL. The Dock warehouses. Rows of lovely houses, just wanton destruction. I lived in a semi- derelict building, Georgian Terrace, Lansdowne Drive..late 70's.. Now gentrified. But renovated. Thank goodness. Only difference then...No graffiti! Façades only are so depressing. Looming HIDEOUS office blocks..😱
I thought it was british greed not land, city of london is getting to many awful looking blocks a few I like, not many tho , I cant put what I,d like say to many swear words

Excellent short video explaining in detail the current proposals by British Land. Great job done by Dan Cruickshank.
Fantastic part of London that MUST be saved and renovated with care, destroying the past is a crime when so much space is around...
Shocked at the proposals and depressed at the greed and scale of the proposed development. Save Norton Folgate.
Dan Cruckshank is such a natural in front of the camera. Good luck with the campaign.
Great video. Well done Dan Chruickshank, and the Gentle Auther for producing it. Will get my support. Stop British Land!
