I've been a fan of AC games since Project Phantasma. I really wish From Software would make a better story mode. Interactions between pilots and character development can make for some truly dramatic encounters.
I only came for the comments and dislikes For me it was way more difficult since I end NEXTs within a minute and Tank variants being 3 minutes and also that the missions get way more difficult in hard not by adding a NEXT but by how ridiculous the objective can get I mean a famous mission seed a barren earth is now more difficult since not only you kill white glint but you have to kill his backup and oh shit my ER-O200S are nearly empty so I panic and then die and it ain't one NEXT you gotta kill it is 2! Also my setup is Leonemeccanica light build with Omer and GA parts like Omer for weapons and GA for the Generator and maybe the booster and with this build you will become deadly to 2 NEXTs but fight three and you are crazy
These damn things are STILL dangerous if you arent watching your back in ACFA. Nothing puts a downer on your day like getting koji sworded in the back by one of these bastards during partnership play.

@@clostridiumtetani9947 I think it's more like Starsector, **cough** I mean Suits: Absolute Power **cough** , where it's ~unchecked~ capitalism is bad. I don't have any issues with Rosenthal or Aspina.
@@killertrip10 Well yeah of course, unchecked capitalism is bad. But AC4 does NOT do that idea any favors with it's poor nuance. You mean to tell me the corporations fighting eachother is a bad thing but just in time for the main plot they decide to work together? (Bordering on the twitter meme of the "Capitalist system" as a monolith). Not to mention the incredibly on the nose references to the French Revolution like the incessant guillotine symbolism everywhere, the guy who betrays le revolution and who the player is supposed to hate is called Thermidor (The period of the french revolution where people said "Ok, ok, maybe tone it down a little and stop the public executions for now"), etc.
The AC stories were greatly inferred in the subtle dialogue and actions taken by the Raven. The story was pretty complex. It took me a few playthroughs to get it.
i really wish they implement a cockpit veiw in the game play like looking out the head from a monitor. it be hard but would be such a good feeling if you could master it
the mech was spoken of when they were talking in the scene after barboroi if i remember correctly and the person piloting the mech is joshua being blackmailed to kill you for the companies to save his own hometown. dont blame from software as much as you should sega for shitty translations
@yurusanzo Sonic the robot...anyway, yeah, I guess that about explains it, 4 just made no sense at all until Wikipedia helped me out, and even then I didn't find the plot on the 4th playthrough. So basically it was kind of a blackmail scheme...but where the crap did the hulk-wannabe AC come from?
@SeanyBoy589 an orbital frame ESPECIALLY Juhety would fucking wreck their shit... not to say that AC's and Gundams (as the match up between these two I dunno, probably AC's because of the PA) arn't bad-ass, its just different tiers; like: "Pokemon vs Naruto vs DBZ? Who would win?" its just totally diffrent elements (and very unbalanced) and you classified them together cause they're all animes. And!: Saying that is just begging to start a flame war. Just sayin'....
@Anonym0109 I agree on all of the others, but 4 was just nonsensical to me, as I mentioned, I had to look up the plot on Wikipedia, even after 3 playthroughs...When did that last boss even play a part in the storyline?
Dunno, 4 sucked pretty badly I'd say. A few of the tracks were alright, although they repeated far to often. This is ignoring the "plot" that the game had....random mission, random mission, guy's pissed for some reason, random mission, random mission, endboss blows up your alleged hometown, end. The stupid part is that there actually was a decent plot, they just forgot to add it in or something. Wikipedia'd it, and wow...where was this in the game?...or the manual?...or anywhere?
FACTS. Apparently some of the plot was lost when it was translated too. But agreed, they need to up their story-telling game. They did alright with dark souls (I am not a fan of the dark souls formula) but it's leagues ahead of what AC had going on in 4/4A.
