I bought a Fesley FDK800 a few months back , that is one bad ass metal machine, if Fesley have any achilles heel its that they stamp their name everywhere on their guitars. Fesley along with Donner, Leo Jaymnz, West Creek and Firefly a lot of these Chinese brands are seriously knokcing it out of the park at prices that should give the legacy brands like Gibson, Charvel, Jackson, Fender etc pause
Steve, can I just say I love your child-like smile you get when you have a new guitar in your hands. So genuine and such joy. 😊 Just like you did when you unveiled it from the gig bag! 🤘🎸
For a few dollars less, here in the UK we have Fazley guitars that are excellent for so little outlay. Why pay more for a Squire that may not be as good, that association with Fender comes at a price. The budget brands have caught up and now offer far better quality than they did only a few years ago.
I've seen a lot of reviews on that guitar, it's not bad. Too bad they don't make a left-handed guitar I have talked to them about 3 months ago and they said they were going to make some left-handed, but haven't yet
I have seen several reviews on these and they have been all good so far. I have been waiting for the camo one to be restocked. Since I grabbed two Leo Jaymz guitars The Monsoon and Swiftor another guitar brand that get rave reviews. I try and hit the local shops and Guitar Center looking deals on used guitars. I made a mistake and passed on a Greg Bennett Samick LP style in the Natick GC. I decided to go back two days later and it was gone. I really like the Bennett series, I picked up a spalted Maple one last year at Mr Music for a great price. I still check almost every day for the camo Fesley LP to pop up but so far nothing and now they have been selling them in bundles with a bunch of stuff i do not need or want.
Back in the day when a McDonald's double cheeseburger was .99 cents $100 would buy you a guitar that needed more than a standard setup to play well and had pickups you would never try and use on stage, Getting a solid player with nice tone for $200 today is pretty amazing
So it's a flat top bolt on eclipse style guitar. The Harley Benton Progressive SC1000 is a set neck arch top and also in the same price range - I have 4 of them and their weakest link are the pickups.
Looks and sounds amazing, it really feels like a race to the bottom with guitar prices. It's going to collapse a lot of sellers just as you see in the online book industry. I'm sure Pixxy could make a $2 guitar sound like a $2000 one. Bag alone is worth the price.
Great review and great playing! I actually like the logo. The only thing that keeps me from buying one is the frets. My understanding is that they are not jumbo frets. 😢
@@4stringz. it is pretty damn good, I did a review of the cheapest Epiphone LP right now can get it for $40.00 less than this and the Epiphone was blown out of the water by this.
@@Angelo-fo8de it was abin liner haha I'm just kidding but not really the Peavey Wolfie and it came in a case I have a hard tail EVH that also came in a case but then i got the stealth baked beans maple syrup neck and man i got to tell ya the guitar was ok enough not as good as the Peavey or the hard tail EVH but it's about the bag icky totally gross and the EVH straps are a joke I think I know why Ed always had tapped straps because they were crap. But I love I love I'm a huge Van Halen fan but that bag baits it's has like a negative padding man.
I had issues with the pickups. They're too over-the-top, sharp, not organic. By lowering them down significantly, I was able to get some better tones, but still not completely up my alley. I love the overall feel, but looks like I'm going to have to do some work to swap out pickups. Anyone else experiencing the same? Listen to the segment at 13:35 - Sounds harsh and shrill rather than rich and lush. That's what I'm talking about.
If the shape wasn't so shreddy looking I would buy one. I hate these pointy cutaways makes the guitar look something a 14yo kid would think looks cool. To me all these shredder guitars look like plastic toys. But the build quality is truly shocking. Same with the new Harley Benton models. They keep getting better. The wonders of CNC machining. People used to make fun other those Chinese/Indonesian builders but they really improved over time. Same with japanese stuff back in the 80s. Everyone made fun of them until they overtook us.
@@Joe-mz6dc Dude yes! Don't they look cheesy/cheap? That is why I hate Ibanez. I mean they play amazingly well but they look like plastic toys with a handle. Not like an instrument. Honestly there are very few modern shapes I think are even remotely good looking. Classic shapes are classic for a reason. Everything else just appears and disappears after a while. That doesn't mean you couldn't make improvements I have nothing against a Les Paul with a volute or shaped neck heel for better higher fret access.
How does it feel though? That matters to a lot of people. I’m used to an entry level PRS SE and those feel great to me. I’ve never played anything else that has a higher comfort level. Before that, I played cheaper guitars my whole life and they always felt clunky and lost tune quickly.
A little 'nut sauce' and some better tuners you got a beast for $250. Nice. This is what people could buy if $3000 guitars didn't fall out of the sky onto their rack| AIO Wolf is doing great things around $500 if you want a gig ready guitar that looks and sounds amazing
Great another Guitar review of a person playing the Guitar with no review at all. Why waste peoples time ? Im a new player looking for a cheap beginner Guitar to buy I dont want to see someone playing for 30 mins.
I’m no Joe Satriani myself , BUT I can promise you my guitar collection is worth more than your house ! Providing you still don’t live with mommy and daddy , which I guess you do !

Steve, you're Neal Schon of UA-cam. Great touch and vibrato. Very impressed!!
Amazing. Poplar body and a Mahogony neck. Nice material for a under 200.00 guitar.

They should do a Rock-A-Billy style guitar and call it the 'Elvis Fesley'.
I'll show myself out.......

the headstock logo I can deal with, but that 12th fret inlay…ay caramba

CNC machining. It has changed everything .
what plugin are you using
Its not a plug-in . He is using a guitar software suite called TH-U Overloud .
very cool

Very nice looking; now, let's see how it goes for the dinero.
can you put a whammy bar on it
