That's the case for every thumbnail, I only just realised this myself. Basically, the contestant shown on the left is the contestant that was off that week, the contestant in the middle is the one that had the best dance of that week, and the one on the right is the one that had the second best dance.
And the two highest scoring are next to it

Watching this today and am absolutely amazed with the quality of these shows. I am from the States and am very disappointed in this year's (2019) concepts and cast. I guess they are cutting back , but if that is the case, they should just cancel the show. The UK is so far above the US show it's sad. The concepts and filming of their shows is incredible. I am an ex-dancer/choreographer and I totally appreciate all the hard work and creativity that goes in to each and every number!!

It was Neil and Johannes running and spinning around and then they edit it to make it look ghostly. Joe Mentions it in his review video he did with Dianne on his vlog channel.

Ashley and Pashley Charleston. So amazing. This is what a Charleston should be. Perfection! I loved this so much. There best dance is the season to me.

Seann and Katya v.walz. I liked the story telling and the dancing was okay. U think the judges are strict in him after the incident. I think this was undermarked but not praticularlly good.

It’s live music who have been helping strictly for almost 19 years and they are extremely talented singers- some songs they sing might not be the best but their voices are amazing.

Joe sugg one of the most undeserving finalist in strictly history only got there because of his UA-cam fan base and the judges where told not to be too harsh by strictly bosses. I’ve got a friend who is a hair and makeup artist on the show and he told me
I actually think he did deserve it! He danced well every week imo.
