I believe it’s the companies fault who packed and shipped the part. Not the delivery company. That was way under packed. Wow now that you’re working at WR I can’t wait to see what the splitters look like on the trailers being shipped!! 😂Your a packing machine Bob 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video bob. It’s all about time, and money. Items I have received in past, it’s like what were they thinking. The one word is shameful. Wolfgang sent my 12 way to me, and it was packaged extremely well. I was impressed. . Hats off to him.
I package engine parts over the last 20-plus years. If I packed something out like this I would never hear the end of it. Remember the opening scene of "Ace Ventura Pet Detective" the box started out nice, and by the time he got to the door, it was just beat to death.. you never know who or how something is being handled the package during transport..
Hahaha Ace Ventura, classic. Isn’t it crazy though? Imagine if it was a more sensitive part, I’ve seen that stuff shipped this same way and I just don’t get it. 🤷🏻♂️
Hi there Yep DROP shipped , Seen that a lot , here . Got a delivery a few day ago , they ran over my solar light , All boils down to work ethics , Not much left anymore , and not many care about the next guy , question Do you ever get down to carroll county Maryland ,in your travels,? Merry Christmas to all and thanks ,John
Wonder how many shipping folks are paid piece work or expected to meet unreasonable quotas? We have a huge Amazon hub and UPS hub both locally and these folks are worked liked borrowed mules! Amazon brings/buses in 5000 additional "temp" employees just for the holiday. Who is giving their best effort to a job that is over in 2 months? Guess I think the shipping issues go way deeper than bubble wrap and peanuts. Profits over taking care of employees seems to be the standard...
Also a very good point. Years ago I had a seasonal job at an apparel warehouse that was piece work. We had to put our name on / in each box but just like you said it was a temporary job. Some of the employees didn’t really care. You’re right though, it’s way deeper than just the packing material.
