You're absolutely right! He is NOT a Welder... Only knows how to "Tack" and "Tacking" is a very basic skill, but not the way he does it, without a helmet... Not very helpful for your eye sight... No gloves (skin cancer: Melanoma) Duh?

when i fabricate i all had the seam face the same way on all my parts i cut and wild too to screw up another person i would turn them around and mix them up they spend the rest of the day out of my hair i have the next few builds and squared they still fight with the first one
but did not through about using the seam for the 45 deg cuts thank you making fences will be a snip now

What is the purpose of the u shaped flat stock? Would just welding the pipe joint be plenty strong?
Its only for shed making,,pipe pillar
you didnt need to put the bracket on top of the pipe... if you welded the pieces together the weld would be strong on itself.

What the hell good does that do? Just run a bead around the cope line. You would tear that pipe to pieces before the weld failed. There is so much bullshit on you tube.
