(Ex. 3) Synthetic division cannot be used if divisor is not in the form of (x-a). Long division will produce the correct slant asymptote at y=2x-2 not at y = 4x-4
Why do you have two AP Precalculus 1.11B videos? One was posted in September, another was posted in October. Which one is correct? I looked at them and example 3 seems to be the difference between the two videos. Which answer and process is correct? And why is it correct? Because the October video is posted at a later date, I’m guessing the October video is the correct solution. But when I looked at the September video, I don’t get why it’s wrong because it seems like it makes sense. At time stamp 5:19, it seems you’re using the fractional value -3/2, but on the other one you used the decimal value -1.5. We can still use -3/2 right? We just have to decide the coefficients of the numerator by 2 and it’ll be fine right? On this one, you didn’t divide the coefficients by 2, while the other one, you did.
Your videos really help, especially when I miss class😭😭 thanks sm!

I was wondering why I got two different answers
Bro thank you I was so sure I did it right
