just transfered from a normal to hard PvE server with a bunch of the same people, but some PvP players also joined the same server. every 20 minutes PvP players start some kind of chat argument over nothing in particular (last big one was because someone didnt like people using chat colors) 6 weeks of people chatting and joking and helping each other got replaced with all the pointless bickering, disinformation and gaslighting that drove me away from PvP games. You can keep all your PvP exclusives and extra starchrom, we're building each other maxed out structures for free and making terrible puns.
That happens on a lot of servers regardless of if they are PVP or PVE.. I have 9 characters and have played 11 servers now (some on season 2) and each chat is wildly different. However, I usually just ignore it all and when I want to chat I make sure to #G first :)

Speaking personally, I'm not interested in either side cause my goals - for this game - are the same and can be placed on PVE or PVP server. All i do is making tiny cozy houses and creating stuff. I appreciate you trying to get people onto the PvP servers. People are pretty adverse to getting killed by other players so these severs can feel empty at times but the accelerated pace and faster progression is really appealing. The outfit collection is the real reward though.
Yeah agree. It's going to be pretty fun I think since there's no real loss on death like the sproutlet event. Plus, you don't even need to pvp and can still have fun.
im down for PVP always. but my concern is that, prismverse doesn't have the Jaws Wish machine like on PVP / PVE Hard modes. So which one is better? New Mods or get your Jaws etc blueprints for upgrades.
Sometimes I PVP in games, sometimes I don't. I'm trash at it in this game, mostly because I'm trash at making good builds I like in this game for some reason. But I'm going to try this PVP scenario. You made a lot of good points. I really lose nothing to try it.

You missed the negative part of fast leveling. Fast leveling = more twinks. More twinks at 2-sided free pvp scenario which is oriented on mass base defences = lots of traitors and back to back sabotages. I expect the pvp aspect of this scenario to fail spectacularly. Lots of people will have their play ruined and their disappointment will be immeasurable. Also, we are going to learn why it is so freaking hard to join a corp in EVE.
Thanks! No, you can have 10 characters per one account but they have to be on different servers. When you're on the main sign in, click the server name to change to a different server and you can create a new character there.
Still watching, but I’d love to see guides on fastest way to get exclusive stuff on each scenario. Like I play PVE and have said in comments on your channel before, no desire for PVP. But I also want to be a collector. So gimme guides on the fastest way to get this scenario’s exclusives and maybe even the current PVP/old PvP exclusives. Then you can do mannibus and snow scenario. This gives your viewers guides to fastest path to exclusives that may not require a fully leveled and geared alt, for example

THIS! I may not really like pvp, but since there's nothing more to do I will jump in the scenario, but if there's some guide to see how to get the scenario highlights (exclusive deviations, some cosmetics, mods, etc), then the experience will be way smoother
I saw that they are offering it through Mitsuko marks today on the regular server. That wasn't in the patch notes. However, its a random piece for 3k a spin.. so that seems CRAZY expensive. I haven't seen how to obtain it on the pvp server. Im starting now, will do a video.

You would need to be in Phase 6 in the next few days to join and still be out in time to start the PVE server. Check out my 20 Top Questions video, it's got a lot of great info on how the new server works and timing.

When you reach season 6 you'll be able to move to another server. You start over at level 1 because there is a new questline, story, etc.. but you'll retain all your important stuff like blueprints, mods, etc..

Ill just swerve on this pvp scenario and any future scenarios that dont perfectly align with the ending of my current server I guess. @@erossenpai2884 I recommend running two characters to be honest.. Theres slow times during the phases when having something else to hop on is good. I do however wish there was a way to do the server timing better though.
Half the server will be your friend in the scenario because its Faction v Faction! Perfect for us solos without a hive or warband.. they force them to play with us :)

Nah I hate PVP on PC with the pinpoint accuracy everyone has with their mouse. And I have the worse luck with cheaters so yea I'm steering clear of that
What the point of joining a pvp server just for collect all those pvp exclusive deviants that you can't take it back to pve play? In the future when eternaland can cross server, just request someone from pvp to drop you those. Do note that you can't quit until you reached the end of the phase, to be honest joining is easy but quitting is hard, unless you like the pvp contents, please think before you join. I rather suggest you create a new novice pvp character to try it out first. 😅
If you join day 1 you'll be able to join the PVE Winter scenario Day 1 and you can take up to 25 deviations to the server you transfer to. I currently have my PVP only deviations on my PVE server because I started on PVP.
They are not making it more appealing for PVE players to join if they are on Hard mode pve server now and will miss out launch day on pve server if there are no day 1 pvp servers still open on friday or later. Not everyone wants to play alts, and if there are any cool rewards they want it on their main. So, currently it is more to tell pve players to be really cautious before joining pvp scenario

I'm on a Day 4 Season 2 Server so theres a good chance ill be a few days behind which im looking forward to. I'd rather jump in knowing the little details then rush in day 1 without a clue.. Now, as a content creator I will for sure be joining with an alt on Day 1 so I can share all the secrets with our community.
I enjoy the start over but its not for everyone. I think i've started over like 12 times now? They are working on Yearly servers soon so that will be perfect for those that don't want to reset. Im sure ill have a toon there too.
lol “reason 1, something new”. It’s still the same map with the same shit. I’m already burnt out and I’m worried after the first week in a new map I’ll be burnt out again. It’s the same couple weekly things and then just grinding the same thing we’ve been doing since launch. If it’s the same silos and bosses just in a new area I’ll be bored after day 1
Its the same location but the map is changed around a little, but the main "New" features is that the story is completely different, and of course the game play. This by no means is here to satisfy our need for newer PVE but it is going to be a huge boost in starchrom/fragments leading into the Winter scenario in a few weeks.
You can only be raided during purification if you're doing Chaotic Cortex's which I'm not sure will be on this server.. I hope they are because they pay like 2x the starchrom.
Doing the mats PVE players only lose 2 days. 6 weeks after day 28 September ending at 19 October. The only thing PVE players lose its the PVP mods. Other stuff its farmable on PVE.
Losing a little bit more than that, lol. The same people who have such a staunch stance are gonna be the same people complaining they’re behind everyone else.

We are the same since day one and will be together till other coop game is out. We are waiting for Dune Awakening and Light No Fire so we don't have the need of Goin to a pvp server whit wipe system. For that we have Rust whit more then 3k hours. The pvp event in pve it's toxic enough for us to go on a survival wipe system. Hf all stay safe!
I don't think they are doing it on purpose. The PVE scenario is a much larger project which obviously takes more time. It was probably coming October 17th with or without them adding a scenario in between. This is just a nice change of pace for a few weeks while we wait.
I don't like PVP if i lose levels/gear/etc.. If its just normal pvp, no lag and repercussions then it can be a lot of fun. However, theres other ways to help the server that don't include PVP.

I would love teh devs to add new monoliths and new bosses only 5 bosses is very few tbh for a pve horror game btw they need to work more on the horror aspect it one of the main selling points for me ... i don't see much of it sadly ;(
I don't know if you will or will not be able to. If I had to guess I would think that they will be available in both Deviant Energy and Non-Deviant Energy form and either way youll be able to take them with you.. but who knows, we will see when we get in. I'll give it a 50/50 chance of it going either way.

PVP does tend to have more toxic players than PVE but honestly, it's your choice to interact with it all. Theres this one server that the chat gets super annoying and I just turned it off. I play with friends most of the time so I stay out of any drama.
The toxic players appear in hard pve too because the hard version of servers attracts certain types of players that are more known to be toxic my hard pve server had alot of toxic ones and when some of them stated to have transferred from a novice pvp it made sense

I'd love to give pvp a proper go, but the OCE servers are ass. Constant 100+ ping makes it impossible to compete with someone closer to the server. PVE has been good fun so far and hope to see server improvements soon :)
Same here playing from Aus means pings of 120-140 most of the time, would be a massive disadvantage in PVP. I dont mind pvp, but the frustration of not being able to do any content because I need to be escorted would drive me nuts :( If they sort out ping Im totally down for doing pvp, but right now even some of the pve is hard enough with lag ...

That's the question i'm struggling with. I took my alt to the Prismverse and will likely take my main to the PVE Hard mode to level up the Jaws more.

No, you don't lose anything on this server. If your stuff gets destroyed it goes into your vault.

You have to.. You can't leave until Phase 6. When your sever ends you'll be coming up right about the time the PVE Scenario begins.

One reason i haven't played the PvP server:
My PC sucks ass i only get 60-80fps on lowest. It's enjoyable in PvE, but i'm not sure about PvP.
Pro Tip: All the hardcore pvpers run their graphics on the lowest settings too lol. I refuse!

Weekly purifications are done at your base, so as long as your built in the safe zone it will be just like normal.

I think the new PVP Stat mechanic they are implementing to keep power differences in check may help with that.

For me it’s a no, latency is always around 180-200 so will be awful at pvp. Will wait for October

We start over at level 1, but the Experience is super charged by like 1000% so you'll be level 50 like 10x faster than normal.

Nah I hate PVP on PC with the pinpoint accuracy everyone has with their mouse. And I have the worse luck with cheaters so yea I'm steering clear of that

What the point of joining a pvp server just for collect all those pvp exclusive deviants that you can't take it back to pve play? In the future when eternaland can cross server, just request someone from pvp to drop you those.
Do note that you can't quit until you reached the end of the phase, to be honest joining is easy but quitting is hard, unless you like the pvp contents, please think before you join. I rather suggest you create a new novice pvp character to try it out first. 😅
If you join day 1 you'll be able to join the PVE Winter scenario Day 1 and you can take up to 25 deviations to the server you transfer to. I currently have my PVP only deviations on my PVE server because I started on PVP.
They are not making it more appealing for PVE players to join if they are on Hard mode pve server now and will miss out launch day on pve server if there are no day 1 pvp servers still open on friday or later. Not everyone wants to play alts, and if there are any cool rewards they want it on their main. So, currently it is more to tell pve players to be really cautious before joining pvp scenario
Miss out launch day on Oct pve, what’s the big deal? Just a couple of days later… what you will lose out on pve? And what you “win” exactly in game. lol
That was my #1 Reason, not to join the PVP server. If you can't make it to launch on October 17th you should just chill out and wait.
I'm on a Day 4 Season 2 Server so theres a good chance ill be a few days behind which im looking forward to. I'd rather jump in knowing the little details then rush in day 1 without a clue.. Now, as a content creator I will for sure be joining with an alt on Day 1 so I can share all the secrets with our community.
Don't care, not going. I'll just sit on my nearly empty pve server and collect all the staries I've had to compete with everyone else to get.

Reason 4 - tired of starting over and wasting my time.
I enjoy the start over but its not for everyone. I think i've started over like 12 times now? They are working on Yearly servers soon so that will be perfect for those that don't want to reset. Im sure ill have a toon there too.
If they made this game where we had to join PVP I would switch games so I will 100% not be joining the PVP servers

lol “reason 1, something new”. It’s still the same map with the same shit. I’m already burnt out and I’m worried after the first week in a new map I’ll be burnt out again. It’s the same couple weekly things and then just grinding the same thing we’ve been doing since launch. If it’s the same silos and bosses just in a new area I’ll be bored after day 1
Its the same location but the map is changed around a little, but the main "New" features is that the story is completely different, and of course the game play. This by no means is here to satisfy our need for newer PVE but it is going to be a huge boost in starchrom/fragments leading into the Winter scenario in a few weeks.

You can only be raided during purification if you're doing Chaotic Cortex's which I'm not sure will be on this server.. I hope they are because they pay like 2x the starchrom.

Doing the mats PVE players only lose 2 days. 6 weeks after day 28 September ending at 19 October. The only thing PVE players lose its the PVP mods. Other stuff its farmable on PVE.
I tossed a Gantt chart in at the end after the outro if you want to check out the math.
Losing a little bit more than that, lol. The same people who have such a staunch stance are gonna be the same people complaining they’re behind everyone else.

We are the same since day one and will be together till other coop game is out. We are waiting for Dune Awakening and Light No Fire so we don't have the need of Goin to a pvp server whit wipe system. For that we have Rust whit more then 3k hours. The pvp event in pve it's toxic enough for us to go on a survival wipe system. Hf all stay safe!

I don't think they are doing it on purpose. The PVE scenario is a much larger project which obviously takes more time. It was probably coming October 17th with or without them adding a scenario in between. This is just a nice change of pace for a few weeks while we wait.

I don't like PVP if i lose levels/gear/etc.. If its just normal pvp, no lag and repercussions then it can be a lot of fun. However, theres other ways to help the server that don't include PVP.

I would love teh devs to add new monoliths and new bosses only 5 bosses is very few tbh for a pve horror game btw they need to work more on the horror aspect it one of the main selling points for me ... i don't see much of it sadly ;(

I don't know if you will or will not be able to. If I had to guess I would think that they will be available in both Deviant Energy and Non-Deviant Energy form and either way youll be able to take them with you.. but who knows, we will see when we get in. I'll give it a 50/50 chance of it going either way.
If pvp would have been a normal gun fight then I would have sure join it but with those elemental shenanigans and fancy costumes running around... I'm done for it✋🏻😮💨... anyways... thanks for the information... I'll tell my friends because they always like playing pvp crap games all the time...💥🤦🏻
It should be just a gun fight, where are you seeing elemental stuff? Also, they added a pvp stat equalizer to help keep things in check.
No thanks, pvp will full with toxic players. When mobile go live the toxicity will shoot through the roof. Not to mention cheaters. So no thank you.
PVP does tend to have more toxic players than PVE but honestly, it's your choice to interact with it all. Theres this one server that the chat gets super annoying and I just turned it off. I play with friends most of the time so I stay out of any drama.
The toxic players appear in hard pve too because the hard version of servers attracts certain types of players that are more known to be toxic my hard pve server had alot of toxic ones and when some of them stated to have transferred from a novice pvp it made sense

Some people just don't enjoy PVP, I get it. However, I think they can find a way to have fun and be helpful even without stepping foot in pvp. That was my goal to convey.

@@t-train6723 that makes sense.. It can definitely feel like they are being screwed over but the pve is a much bigger project and will take longer to create. At least having this new story line is a great thing to do while we wait.

I'd love to give pvp a proper go, but the OCE servers are ass. Constant 100+ ping makes it impossible to compete with someone closer to the server. PVE has been good fun so far and hope to see server improvements soon :)
100% agree. They mentioned some optimization stuff in the patch notes so fingers crossed.
Same here playing from Aus means pings of 120-140 most of the time, would be a massive disadvantage in PVP. I dont mind pvp, but the frustration of not being able to do any content because I need to be escorted would drive me nuts :( If they sort out ping Im totally down for doing pvp, but right now even some of the pve is hard enough with lag ...
