    Amazing day! That river looked great brother! Smallmouth and
    Brook Trout are two of the most beautiful freshwater fish species! Smallies fight and jump so hard! Those little creek chubs fight hard too for a small fish. Love the underwater footage as always brother!!

      Appreciate the comment. These species are great to fight on light weight gear! This video was from the spring and with the lack of rain this summer, this river is at an all time low!

    As an NB fisherman, I enjoy fishing Smallies, but they need to go, if we want the Trout and Salmon to make a decent comeback.

      I'm not certain, but was always told they were stocked here for a food fishery? They are so widespread now there's no getting rid of them!

    Great video! I thought the Nashwaak was fly only, I'm glad to see I was wrong. I'm new to the area as of this year but I'll be spending lots of time casting on the Nashwaak this summer! TL

      Appreciate the comment and hope you subscribe. Lots of vids on the channel chasing trout, muskie, chain pickerel, bass, landlocked salmon and stripers. No issues fishing bait on the Nashwaak, but check the regs. There are stretches that are fly fishing only after the 15th June and 1st July. See you on the water!

    A rather different video by seeing you out on the river, I sure enjoyed it, especially with anything to do with trout, nice fish caught and a great way to finish by having one for the dinner table at the end, looks great

      Thanks friend. I always enjoy getting out in the spring and walking the brooks and smaller rivers for trout. Reminds me of my youth when there was no boat!

      @@MasterCrowOutdoors oh I am bud. I've been here with ya for the past 3 years. Its been great, I was medically released from military and fishing has been a major help for me and these videos helped me learn the dos and don'ts.
      Been trying to hit some trout or even some smallies but I'm just not angling correctly cause I'm having a lot of slower days. But just means I go out more often :)

      @@verankgaming516 Glad your along for the adventure n I can help out. Didn't recognize the name. The fishing has been tough because of the hot weather and really hard on trout. The water temp in Freddy isn't to bad with the dam so give it a try for smallies. Stay safe my friend!

    Hey Matt, right in the middle of your beautiful video, an ad appears from Corn-Pop Joe, asking for money. Do they ask you for permission to do that or they just throw it on there without you knowing? OSH :-)

    • @MasterCrowOutdoors
      @MasterCrowOutdoors  4 роки тому +2

      When you monetized, you have some control over the amount of ads, style and when they appear, but I think UA-cam selects the type based on their algorithms?

      I recognize that little bridge from google maps. Been curious about that spot along the trail for a few years now, how accessible do you think it is to fish under the bridge regarding steepness and footing? 🙃

    River looks like something you would see in Montana not NB. I guess it does no see much pressure.

    • @MasterCrowOutdoors
      @MasterCrowOutdoors  4 роки тому +1

      It is one of our gems with clear water and gravel bottoms. Use to have good salmon runs, but there almost gone. Just hope we don't ruin it with clear cutting n garbage from people tubbing. It doesn't get much pressure. Not a lot of people like to walk through the woods to fish.

      @@MasterCrowOutdoors Remember i am from NJ which is around 1/4 the size of New Brunswick with 9.2 million people to boot! If you wanted to get to fish somewhere that the water was not already frothy from all the anglers already there, you must learn to walk thru brush and thickets and deal with lotsa ticks.
      Rivers are a blessing in disguise because it turns off the sunday fisherman because of snags and they cannot read water well.
      i chuckled when a previous post cursed the Smallmouth bass as invasive. I hd just thought that the bass saved the day. Whatever has effected the Salmon probably did the same to the trout. I made the quip about it looking like Montana because of how open it is.

      @@vincentwinkleblech3614 Your right, we don't realize how lucky we are with the pristine environment and so little pressure! Those smallies did save the day from my perspective and here's to keeping the cardio up for the next adventure through the woods! Stay safe my friend!
