ikr, like even if there is some talent, all of it gets channeled into crap content. those who are in commercial cinema are idolised. but actors like these are just looked back at in nostalgia and those in parallel cinema now can mostly only crossover to commercial cinema if they take up small roles.

I have seen there is a tendency to belittle shabana these days. Shabana's versatility has no match. Smita had her strengths but did not have shabana's wide range. I cannot understand why we cant be fair to actresses based on merit alone.
