As a white man who grew up in Iowa, I made the decision to go to Ethiopia. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

@@kidusgidey7697 Ok. The state of Iowa in the USA was mostly white people, farmers etc. After getting my MA degree, I wanted to go somewhere where I, repeat, I was the minority. I wanted to see if, live it, feel it. I spent 2 months in Ethiopia. And it changed my eyes, my heart and my mind -for the better! I met, and fell in love with a beautiful woman there. We married and she came to America, where she became a nurse. I am so proud of her.
I was able to change her life for the better. And I would do it again, in a heartbeat 💓
