Just for a comparison the new RWD Lamborghini Huracan has 610 PS/602 SAE HP out of 5.2L.
So what exactly happens when you install a higher grade tune - like the 93 octane tune vs the stock tune? Do the spark plugs fire later than sooner for maximum compression or is more gas and air injected in the chambers for a bigger boom or something? Because mechanically, the pistons cannot compress the gas and air mixture anymore unless a cam is installed
Mr dark man When Ford tunes it, they need to make it pass all 50 state emission, drivability, very cold starts, etc. PBD tune, leans the mix a bit, tuning is more aggressive, and valve timing is advanced a bit too.
Sweet Brother!! Mods😛. Looking forward to getting my Ngage from PBD this spring along with the install of my 18 intake manifold. From what I see it is gonna make a serious difference on my 16. Keep modding Brother💯
No because they did remote street tuning. Stock is between 440whp-450whp and 93/tune/intake is 475whp and E85 is 510whp. With longtubes or cat delete pipes its about 490whp on 93 and 530whp on E85.
Ronald Nunley I have ARH catted on my 19 GT350 and absolutely LOVE it. Absolutely zero sacrifice with the stock mufflers in place. Huge power difference and the most amazing sound I’ve ever heard.
Exhaust makes no power unless you do catless pipes. The only bolt ons are longtubes or catless pipes and intake. Headers and E85 is 540whp range without headers and stock cats is 500whp. PBD does a ton of these cars and that’s what they make.
I’m not going to sit here and argue. I wouldn’t make stuff up. There’s a bunch of dyno graphs north of 530whp with long tubes and 510-520 with catless pipes. If your one who follows Lund or Brenspeed than I guess that would explain it. PBD does this all day.
