I've been doing this technique for 3wks now but with a #6 treble under a slip float using cheese punch bait by triple s. Almost if not more fun than crappie fishing. The kitty's waste no time sinking that bobber. Perfect hooksets right in they lip🎣🐱🐟

I’ve been doing this for years on the horseshoe chain in Cold Springs, specifically Long Lake in the chain. Except I use frozen raw shrimp and straight braided line. It’s so much fun to hear my drag scream. I have video on it on UA-cam too!

I use a texas rig with small bo ber on the hook shaft.
