What does pin 5 (SW) on VCC vs. pin 5 on GND, please? My circuit gives 4.4V and it is too much. I need 4.2V max.

Please add 1N4007 diode. And only add the diode on output + don't connect to -
And diode decreases approx 2.1v so this is compatible with there circuit.

the ic automatically cut off when fully charged. Also if Battery have a charging module like 18650 it will automatically cut off too when it is charge full.
