So change SATA configuration to AHCI in BIOS?
Hey KB, Today i was recording a gameplay using the Windows game recorder but accidentally there was a power cut and the file got corrupterd. Is there a fix?????Plzzz... tell.
sorry but i can't be fixed ... next time use OBS and choose format as MKV because MKV doesnt get corrupted ,,and also try some softwares or apps similar to "mp4 fixer" do google search you will find many results
My SSD Runs at 1mbps read and write or less whenever I launch programs. I benchmarked it and it was running at full speed like it’s suppose to(running at 500mbps read and write). But doesn’t run normally. How do I fix this?

@@Truemasterpj yeah I just factory reset my pc and if it’s still happening ima be mad. It seems like it’s making my SSD have 0 read speed and doesn’t allow applications to go past the verification stage when installing which uses read speed to make sure there are no corrupted files

Tried changing my bios settings from ide to ahci and nearly corrupted my drive. Be careful.

I agree. But he is not the only one on UA-cam that talks, talks, talks; instead of cutting to the chaff. IE: They get to talking and try to teach EVERY thing that one might need.
That is NOT the way to do it. Keep it simple. Move on. Sadly, VERY few DIY videos are going to do this. Ego plays a major part in this. It is like an old saying: "Once a person gets on the mic they never want to give it up!"
but with AHCI you would not disable OPTAN memory?
My SSD have a write speed of 5 mb/s when its supposed to be at 500mb/s but if I change to AHCI mode you said that I have to reinstall windows will my files be deleted?
Okay turns out that my SSD is already on AHCI mode and still getting 5 mb/s

yes you should rty replacing thermal paste
If you have PCIe slot for ssd, you should use it. Bcs SATA ssd is slower than the PCIe one.

my SSD is showing a good read and write rate. the problem is whenever I do write or read files such as copy data or extracting files the active property most likely hit a 100% and by that I can't really make another task.

That's a very slow SSD. You probably got a virus in your pc
You don't need to reinstall windows if you want to switch to AHCI mode. You cam tweak some settings in regedit (look them up) and once done, reboot and activate AHCI mode in BIOS as you do here. Then it will work properly.

how do you do this for Mac?
My Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB nvme plce gen 3×2... is only reading at 1783mb/s and writing at 1657mb/s... Literally half of what it is supposed to be reading/writing at, the website says a bit above 3000mb/s .
Does my processor have something to do with it? I have the lowest Ryzen, 3 3200u.

@@user-jg7ic9ft1z I just upgraded laptops and put the 970 in my new one and am getting correct speeds... I think my old laptops setup in general was not fit for those speeds.
What are you running it on? Processor, etc?

@@user-jg7ic9ft1z okay, you should be fine then... Check out on Google a few articles about the 970 Evo underperforming. Maybe somewhere in there you'll find some help. I just upgraded my laptop entirely and when I did I changed it over and got the speed.

I'm getting the peak speed of my ssd somehow even though my pc used to secretly optimize and defrag it.
In my old lenovo laptop the phionex bios set up there is no option of sata operartion or something nor ahci mode
I agree in my hp laptop as well I have bought new crucial x9 pro stating 1050 mbs read and write speed an am just getting 600 mn of read and 15 mb of write like seriouslyy???? how should I suppose to solve it

You need full on re-install windows.
i lived suing HDD for more than 10y without any problem once i moved to ssd i'm facing daily problems now for example my ssd read speed 550MB while the write is less than 50MB . also '' DO NOT GET KINGSTONE ''

m.2 is only faster then regular ssds with copying and transferring files for loading games they the same
was able to change fromm rst to ahci w/o reinstalling windows. i dont know how or why but samsung magician works now. I CAN SEE MY DRIVES

@@amdgamer69 R7 3700x is not that expensive, and RAM isn't expensive anymore too. R7 3700x is 299,99$ nowadays and you can easily get 2x 8gb 3200mhz CL16 RAM (G. Skill Aegis) 70$ which is feeling for me very competitive with other much more expensive models.
