started out my art business in november last year, and haven't gotten any sales/commisons or views at that matter. Thank you for sharing your journey so far. It keeps my hope up, that I just have to stick with it and not give up
I resonate with you 100%. Climbing the corporate ladder has made me feel more anxious, depressed and lonely than ever. I am doing content creation full time too, and I am really happy with it
Hey I love the perspective you got about experience . The same goes for me , atm I am on a point where I can get new clients as I have done a lot of stuff before , those small things helped me build up experience . I do still make mistake here and there but at the end of the day we humans . Also I was going to add , I know instagram or Tiktok is hard for people like us but hopefully this changes during this year or so . As a content creator in 2024 or 2025 now , is all about who can get their post out faster , who can get more comments and who is using Ai for this or that .Quantity over quality is something I don't like about social medias . And the fact that you got sales without ads is amazing . Keep it up . And wish u all you the best for 2025 !!!
Same journey for me. Starting a pottery biz. I’m excited but it definitely is a different way of living since I’ve always been in corporate. You’ll get through it. Your UA-cam vids are pretty good
Just wanted to say, I'm so happy I ran across your video. I'm actually about to launch my YT channel documenting my journey into entrepreneurship into sewing industry after being laid off in Dec 2023. I started my career just before 2008 market crash and can relate to living through "uncertain" times-- when I got my good corporate job, I held on tight, and had a good career until, suddenly, I didn't have it any more. It took me a long time to heal from the years of burnout and find my creativity and passion again. Thanks for sharing your story. Your art & your videos are gorgeous! Hope you see lots of success and growth this year!
I'm so glad you've found peace. It is so so tough to have the rug pulled out from under you with no warning, I'm so sorry you went through that. Good luck to you this year, I'm excited to see your sewing videos!!
This video is such high quality and your shop is stunning. I'm in a really similar position in my life and I can't wait to follow your journey alongside my own! You got this!
I do the same for my goals and milestones. The ones I can't control and depend on others I call milestones to help me feel better. If I don't make them that year, it's still okay! Hope you have a successful art career! ✨️
I started my art business last year and am excited to take this journey with you! How fun to find someone that is in the same boat! Good luck- your art is beautiful!
Oh, welcome to the club ! 👋😃 Thank you for sharing your journey with sincerity 💛 I'm happy I found a small creator sharing similar values, your story is inspiring. As someone impacted by chronic illness my art journey has been all over the place but your video remind me that the most important is to never give up 🌺 Glad to be among your first three hundred subscribers, I can't wait to follow along. I hope you'll be able to post more often here, either way, I'll be among your supporter ! Take care 🌻
Oh my gosh HELLO! I feel like we're meant to be creative besties....lol. I also graduated with my BA in Graphic Design in 2020 ( because that's where I was told I was going to make money ) and have yet to find a full-time job in a creative field. SO. We're paving our own path and following our dreams of being a full-time creative too! I just posted my first UA-cam video and I'm starting to take this whole social media thing seriously. I can't wait to follow you on your journey and see where we're at a year from now! Sending you LOTS of good vibes & well wishes!
Wishing you the best in the new year! I choose to leave my full-time marketing position last year to pursue my art and while it's been chaotic it's been the most rewarding career choice I've made. Sending you positivity and excited to see you continue to grow!!
Commenting to help boost your video! Wishing you the best of luck! I saved your shop on Etsy and will be purchasing the pet portrait sometime this year.
You go girl. I pray you are blessed in this venture.
