Moreover, as something people invest in for the next 5 years or more, think about how much you'll have given Starbucks/Costa/etc in that time period? And that's just one person, what if you and your partner enjoy a coffee, or have dinner parties fairly regularly. $60 per month for 5 years of convenience is very reasonable - you'll spend that much easily on a night out with the guys/wife!

I've yet to taste coffee from all automatic machine that I liked better than from Semi-outomatic machine made by someone skilled. Even stove top moka pots like Bialetti Brikka with freshly ground coffee gives me a better cup in my opinion but then again I only like my coffee black and I very seldom use sugar cube and only if I go to a café I might take one brown and only dip it in and suck it(never blend it into the coffee yuck)
