When I was still in Training back then, I drove the Citaro SMB141L to Bukit Panjang ITH and do a Route Familiarisation service for 973, twiced from March 2022. Should had spotted from someone for that very epic moment - (because Citaro's don't run on BPJ service. Even other BC's & Interchange Staff was curiously lost at first, seeing it entered BPITH). P.s : Not the kind of fleet (O530 Citaro) to use for BPJ revenue service area. Underpowered-chunky and struggling for certain road hill climbing situations.
A number of at least 30 and more buses were seen parked at those bays at the new interchange today. Afterwards, few of them exited the interchange and perhaps proceeded to the depot near Senoko...
Managed to take a glimpse for SMB136C and SMB1H at Chong Pang in Yishun, now SMB136C is at Upgraded Woodlands Regional Interchange and is expected to be opened soon, can't wait!

True, I think the Woodlands regional bus interchange was suppose to open in 2019 alongside with the Thomson East Coast Line, however as we know the Thomson East Cost Line was delayed(mysteriously), and the bus interchange opening date has also been delayed but I feel that in 2021 it’s taking too long to open. But then again we don’t really know what’s really going on so we just gotta wait and see.

@@SGrailadventure2004 yeah to be fair given that I hail from Tampines I shouldn't be surprised cause Woodlands is the northern regional hub and therefore should expect heavier bus traffic, and that Tampines is the eastern regional hub.
So basically after 5 years of Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange being closed, now they are preparing the bus captains for them to be familiarise with the interchange so they won’t get confused during the day it reopens. Right?
Got the feeling it might still serve some role for a while... Maybe as a bus park or extra rollover for some services or even the MRT replacement service area.

Indeed, the road markings are different now even the traffic light shows arrows instead of a full circle(for the green light)
