this GUY....IS.. XTRA Amazing.... not only is his TECHNIQUE outstanding... HE is so RELAXED and LOOSE.... his FEEL is oustanding as well...... I have enjoyed watching all his VIDEOS...
If you are a drummer, I cannot imagine watching any drummers like Benny, Buddy Rich, Dave Weckl and all those others who have the techniques downpat and make it look so easy. Pure enjoyment to watch this guy. Buddy. Dave Weckl etc.
this guy is more than just a drummer , i mean his aproach to drums are unique, so vast and varied that he could be the whole day showing different stuff that are so of his own, I really admire this guy and i'll keep the track on him to eventually at some point in my life be able to play at his level, Honestly one of the gratest drummers on earth at the present.
The mark of any great player no matter the instrument is the ability to make what they do seem accessible (easy). Benny makes playing look so tangible and accessible when in reality the guy is executing at a remarkably high level. His craft is so well honed and he blows my mind every time i see him play.
@thehuddy123 It's funny, but I see Benny doing things I've been doing for years - and he does them SO much better than I do. Seen the video of him playing on a cardboard box? He turns the silly little throw-away rhythms I've been doing into omsething you can do on a stage and amaze people with. The guy is my hero
@golluba this guys very good but thats straight up bonham grooving for sure, and his tech is very similar to jojo but except for his solid slow grooves i've yet to hear exactly what defines his style, most great drummers i can close my eyes and know who's playing but i'm yet to recognise what makes this guy truly unique

I think is one of the few drummers that know how to use cymbals in a creative way
