Yeah but this is time travel, not mutliverse travel. Also I didn't see this episode but im guessing Brian went back in time to see if Jesus was real and really could perform miracles, even though he already witnessed it a few seasons ago but the writing is inconsistent

@@G-Grammy The comedian bit was kinda an incidental way to write Jesus out of doing Holy work. It doesn't focus on his comedy, it focuses on the consequences of Jesus never doing Jesus stuff, ending with
God himself coming to the Griffin house to chew out Brian and Stewie, using petty punishment methods to convince them to undo it.
