Sounds a bit like Lyle Lovett ..&. Lou Reed .. just my opinion...
Andrew Bird is eclectic and I've noticed lots of other songwriters in him. Definitely has those qualities.

His last album was better in my opinion.
That’s because it was his finest work lol. Or did you mean These 13 with Jimbo Mathis? I think I actually like this album more than ‘my finest work yet’, but I kind of missed the violin at times on that one as it seemed to have more songs that were more guitar-focused.

@@chelseas3440 Personally Hands of Glory will forever be my top album of his. The beautiful range of music on that album always amazes me, but he is just an absolute masterful artist.
Really? I think this one’s a massive step up from MFWY. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite albums of his, maybe his best since Noble Beast
