Great infomative review. Love these older Seiko quartz watches. They last forever and have a timeless style.
C Cooper Absolutely Agree! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Reminded me to make another video soon :)
First seiko quartz were serious luxury watch at the same price than premium swiss automatic watches of the period. Finish is amazing and I do not understand that nobody promote these early quartz.
I completely agree!
i just bought one and I'm very satisfied with the condition. it's a little bit too small for my wrist but it makes a perfect dress watch IMO. Great video anyway, keep up the good work and keep improving your channel quality
Love it
Awesome watch, very similar to the King Seiko! Do vintage quartz watches keep their accuracy?
For sure an awesome watch! Cosmetically it shares many similarities with the (later) King Quartz models such as the 482X-series. For most Seiko's from the 70s, they keep pretty accurate timing even after many years. Only the first quartz movements from 69-71 may have accuracy issues, and the eletric/elnix movements might have inaccurate timekeeping issues (0703 etc.). This particular 0920 keeps around 10s/month so i'd say that is within "accurate" :) Thanks for your comment! Regards, Robin
@@WatchEra Wow, that sounds really good. I like the look of vintage watches but need something accurate. I'm currently looking for this model or the king quartz on ebay .
@@alanli1418 Yep, it's weird that these watches don't get more love around our beautiful hobby. They offer such an elegant design, affordable yet quality calibers.
Also take a look at the Seiko Type II's, Lord Quartz or SQ Sports series.
