On the back of your watch it says "Waterproof 200 meters. Shockproof. Amphibia. Automatic." Thanks for the video. I wish you peace and development of the channel!
@@WatchEra It is the Neptune that is a limited edition rarity with a serial number on the bottom cover. The entire annual circulation is snapped up during January. and the children's watch "KGB" is stamped in a million copies. more limited editions - K-34, K-39, Elbrus, 1967, "Bronze Barrel", Chernobyl, "Blind Pew"... I have the "Time zones of Russia" with the number 0187. Isn't it nice to have a watch that has a circulation of less than 1000 pieces per year? So you shouldn't have sold Neptune. you should have paid attention to the serial number on the bottom cover.
@@AquariumRuss I have a very simple philosophy about what watches I sell - although something like this KGB is an exception because of the cool history story. If I don’t wear it enough, it’s going to make place for something I’d wear more often. The Neptune is great, but wasn’t getting any wrist-time. It will come along my path some day again ;-)
@@AquariumRuss Oh I absolutely agree, scarcity and owning a watch nobody has is pretty cool. I collect two types of watches - the one that have a great story, and go on display, and the ones i wear the shit out. The neptune wasn't getting worn really, so I sold it. I might pick one up someday again, it will cross my path again :)
Hello from Russia! This is the first time I’ve seen Ostvok watches, but the factory still produces Komandirskie and Amphibia watches. I started collecting Soviet, Russian and Belarusian watches and am surprised that they are loved in Europe and America!
Hi Droobie, I’ve had that watch yeaaaars ago and completely forgot about it, brings back memories now you mention it! Will put it on the order list, stay tuned! Thanks for the recommendation!!
I can 100% understand that viewpoint, for me it’s more of a story watch than something I’d actually wear for that reason too. Luckily, there’s plenty dial options for Vostok Amfibia’s (although not Ostwok perhaps…)

Dude, you're gonna be big. Great personality and video. You just need to review some hype watches.

Beautiful watch with a cool story
Thank you John, for taking time to comment also! 🙏
I own 4 Vostok (all Amphibian but one Neptun ) and it's great watches ... easy to regulate and keep great time ... + 2 or 3 sec /day and consistent

Can you send me a link to buy this watch, please?
This is a vintage model from 1991, so you cant really buy this model new from any shop. Keep an eye on Etsy, Vinted or Ebay

Do you know what time it is.
Depends on the time of day
It's beer o'clock.

You could check out the CasioHDA600B-1BV, its only 20 bucks, tough as nails, and no one talks about it

La hoz y el martillo dan asco, por lo demás muy lindo reloj y muy robusto
Esa correa le keda muy mal
Vostok is definetly known for their cardboard straps :)
If it didnt have the disgusting hammer and sickle on it, it would be a nice watch.

@@WatchEra If it had a red star, i would have less problems with it. Of course youre right with the other dial options.
@@bertholdbach4959 100% agreed, the red star without hammer and sickle is much more subtle!
Hammer & Sickle is based
