Mmmm I wont be able to get this yarn but liked to have ago n using this pattern to make a blanket for my 1yr old grandson. Thank you Crystal hope youre having a lovey holiday n take a rest 😊
This is very, very pretty. I may just have to get over my dislike of doing the back post! Love the look, but I swear I can screw that stitch up quicker that you can blink your eyes! So I just take the chicken way out and try to avoid it! 🫣May have to suck it up! 😮😅
Crystal, I love the way you explain what you're teaching us. I learned how to crochet from watching your videos. I would start with your one row repeat patterns, making lap size blankets. By the time I got that blanket done, I had that stich down. I just kept doing that, and progressing up the number of row repeats until I have all my major stitches down. So as to your question, I do think that you should do what makes you feel good, beginners can learn from you, all of the videos that I watch do not teach as you do, or they don't talk at all, so I don't watch those channels. Your channel is my favorite, I also give out your channel to my friends who also want to learn how to crochet. So the answer is just to keep doing what you feel is right for you. Either way, you have so many videos out there that they can go back and watch. I am looking forward to your section on mixing different stitches with the same multiples to combine the different patterns. My next project is going to be making a king-size bed spread doing your diamond stich pattern. I am still collecting all the materials I will need, which is a lot. I would also like it if sometime down your list, could you do some teaching on how to read patterns. There are a lot of beginners who don't understand how to read patterns. I have learned how to read patterns from watching Just Vintage Crochet, Corinna works with patterns on every one of her shows, she too is a good teacher, she also teaches you the history of Crocheting as well as the old UK 1700 terminology up to the USA current terminology for the stitches. She will make patterns that are Vintage or Antique along with current day items if she gets enough requests to learn to make it. She's doing some Tuscan crochet to teach beginners how to do it. That will be the next step in my learning, I have just finished purchasing all of the stuff I will need to learn Tuscan crochet. Crystal, I have said thank you for being a great teacher. If I had never stumbled onto your channel and saw you Crocheting with some beautiful yarns, I would have never learned how to crochet . So, all these years later, I still watch your shows to learn new stitches and how to add or deduct stitches from your projects. Thank you 😊❤ You're the best.
Love the stitch pattern and the pretty yarn. I am learning so many new ways to use stitches in crochet from you to make all kinds of magic with yarn. Thank you!
It's so funny you posted this; I just said I've been obsessed w FP & BP DC and was looking at rainbow yarns a few days ago as a gift. I love the eloquent beauty of it
Another must make from you, Crystal! It seems the only things I make are your designs. Our styles are similar. I am a very slow crocheter so it may take years before I get to this one. It's frustrating, because I am a speedy knitter. I can knit a sweeter in a week or two, but I have been working on one of your crocheted sweater vests since this summer.
Oh this is beautiful and looks quite different! I have a busy roving yarn I think would look great. Added to save as usual. lol. Idk how many of your videos I’ve done yet. Well over ten . I like the texture in this. I normally do lace knitting and the yarn will be thin but the texture will still be there.
Thank you for the tutorial. The yarn seems similar to Patons Sierra or Spotlight's Valley. I am thinking I'll use your design idea to make a skirt for my daughter. I think I can add eyelets at the top for a drawstring. I can finish the hem in some way? I am not sure how? Maybe someone would have a good idea how to hem it? Perhaps single crochet ?

I love that you actually do the stitches. It definitely makes it easier to understand. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Yes, you could use single crochet for the hem, that's a great idea 😊
