Hisense, was at least five years before Bigme to offer a color e-ink telephone. They probably would still out-perform the newest Bigme color e-ink telephones. A5, and 7, great devices. But, Bigme is last not first as you said.
Does the Pocketbook angle give devices like the Eo a leg up on security vs Boox? I have real trouble trusting Boox as a company (or Bigme), but Pocketbook? Maybe.
That's outside my area of expertise, but my gut tells me no. I guess you can possibly make the argument that if Pocketbook controls their cloud servers where you notes are backed up that that would be more secure. But I don't know if that's actually the case. Perhaps someone watching this can comment on that.
For me Bigme looks like one level down comparing to Onyx. And it looks too much Chinese type. For example when you got to settings you can still find some chinese names and ect. Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks, Jeff. I wasn't aware of this partnership. I used to be a fan of Pocketbook years ago, but somehow they fell off my radar.

Yep, that's an error on my part. Thank you for the correction.

They are better about the language thing than they were a year ago, but yes, you can still see some Chinese characters in some of the pop up menus.
