Greetings from Michigan. I hope you are able to get some great flight with good weather. I know that the Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Pro are considered better on paper. But it is it better or is the air 3 better. I mean you remove the hasselblad camera alone that's enough right there to make the air 3 better hands down.
Since I’ve done this in boxing, I’ve done three flights, and I am quite impressed so far so much so that I may even consider selling my Mavic3. I think the air three is going to do everything I needed to do.
I suspected it to be a better All around drone a least over the Mavic 3. I don't even have the Air 3 yet, on the way. I didn't even earlier mention my mini 3 Pro which is my go-to favorite drone for most too. Can't wait to see some future videos always good and informative.

No power charger or ND filters with the Fly More's (from now on?). Do we know if most people use the DJI ND filters or other manufacturers' alternatives? I guess the ommission of both lowers the purchase cost, but increases inconvenience.

@@AirPhotography Filters I could care less about having to purchase separately. The charger though... that should be included. Definitely taking another cue from Apples playbook here.
deff want this one as a mini 3 pro owner I deff want an upgrade possibly sometime in the future I’ll buy one but maybe waiting for the air 4 in the future instead of going with the air 3

I really like the RCN1 controller with my Samsung Note 10 phone. Great range (2+ miles rural) with mini 2. Never noticed dimming of screen (Southern California)
I’ve never experienced flying with a Samsung. Only iPhone and they’re completely unusable on a hot day for flying. They start out great. But within 10 minutes, you can barely see what you’re filming.
@@AirPhotography Sadly I hear thats pretty typical of any Apple device.. Never owned one and never will. However my cousin started down that road a while back and decided it wasnt worth all the nonsense. Seen my wife recording one day during a cookout and taking pictures with her much cheaper Samsung Android phone and was blown away, he could barely read his screen to do anything and could see on hers crystal clear.

Hi..I dont plan to fly the drone for more than a km away..so it will always be in line of sight. So is it ok to go with the N2 controller without the screen and use my phone instead??

Great video. I just received the fly more combo and rc2 and cannot get the controller to charge. Any tips? DJI technical support has not been of any help.
Only thing I can suggest is try a different cable. It could maybe be defective.

Sean, I'm thinking about ordering the air 3. I have bought my last drone from Amazon, and I never got any insurance. This time I think I would like to get some, bit I don't know if the insurance from Amazon would be as good if it were bought from DJI. Do you know if there is any difference if one is better than the other? Thanks in advance.
I don’t have the insurance from Amazon. I have never tried it, but I have always purchased a Dji insurance. I’ve only ever used it once, but it worked very well. They gave me a replacement drone within five days.

Can you use usbc cable on the air 2s charger to charge the batteries and rc controller?
In theory, yes you can but it would take a very long time to charge the batteries as you really need a power delivery charger. I already had a 65 watch charger and it seem to do the job fine.
@@AirPhotography 65 is adequate, they recommend a 100w charger. Should be including it as well... scummy of them not to, and then sell one separately.

The only issue I had with the fly more set up was that it does not come with a charger. I had to buy a 100 watt charger, just to get started. For 1550 bucks you would think DJI could include the charger. I do have to admit, the obstacle avoidance works great. I will post what it can do when we return from our Colorado trip.

It’s sucks that they don’t include a dedicated charger with this drone and must separately buy one. Why even the people who showcase them don’t show how the batteries are being charged, that a minus in my opinion.
Any word on whether it is remote ID compliant? I noticed other similar DJI drones are on the FAA Website as “accepted”

I bought a drone from amazon it was the holy stone hs430 it was my 2nd drone of my whole life and it took me 2 crashes and 2 charging when its not working now so if anyone is buying the holystone hs430 dont its cheap quality and not very beginner

They don’t come with the charging brick, unfortunately. I guess they figure everybody has plenty laying around.

I guess I gotta cash out another $200 for nd filters charger and sd cards…. WHY DJI oh and might need a power bank and a hard drive to upload the footage from the sd card on and obviously an M1 MacBook Air for editing….. man it is gonna be a long investment
