I love your videos. I grew up in a household where my parents had frequent poker parties with friends and family, and a dear friend of theirs would play honkey tonk piano for the entertainment. Such happy and fun memories. I started learning piano a few years ago, and have always wanted to learn honkey tonk. Your videos have really motivated me. As I am fairly new at this, it would really help if you included the sheet music, as I do have a hard time following your hand movement, and am continually rewinding to try and get it. Just a suggestion for us beginners. Thanks for the great lessons :)
I really like the simplicity of your approach. Show what you're gonna teach and how it sounds and then a super slow version to learn from. Look forward to more. Many thanks.......
I’ve been learning boogie woogie for a couple of years now and this is easily one of the best UA-cam tutorials I have seen. Keep posting material like this and you will have thousands of subscribers in no time. Brilliant 👍👍
Thanks for sharing. This tutorial is amazing. I am a beginner and I am starting to practice and to learn. Please stay on and may be you can show also some techniques for more hand independence training. This is my most big challange... Thanks again and have a happy new year. 👍
Thanks for your comment. Will keep it in mind.. keep a look out for my next video..it will show the same left hand pattern with sheet music displayed👍🎹
@@jayacoustics9150 Thanks for the reply, I've just about got it down, definitely took a lot time looping the video to get it. Played it for my brother and he loved it. Thanks
Awesome stuff. Is there a lesson that includes the last part you play in this video? It's an awesome continuation of the riff you actually taught here...it goes from 3'50"-3'59".
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, hellooooooooo, woooow, I'm really enjoying your videos 😊 Could I make a request, please? Could you upload a very, very slow backing track, maybe 80 bpm or less? Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu 👋
Plese Help. I lerned left hand and right hand. But together i can't. Many many timеs i tried. How do you learn to play with both hands? what exercises will help?
Hi. Thanks for your comment. On my channel I have a video on 'Hand Independence' which will help you to play both hands together.. let me know how you get on👍🎹
My problem is not to drown in the oversupply of youtube lessons, and start at the beginning and go step by step. You are of course triggered with other youtube lessons where you also secretly take a look, and so you are sometimes on the wrong track and you deviate from that good teacher you are so happy with, I think I now have a good have found that which lies with me, help me not to shift and to remain with that one
Waaah I just can't seem to crack the code on combining the two hands. I can play right hand riff with my eyes closed and in my sleep, but combining it with the left hand doesn't want to come to me.
Pls make a vid on the licks at the end. They sound epic
Wow. That's one good piano player:)
Cheers
Super ! Merci beaucoup ! Vos licks sont simples et bien expliqués! Et ils font tout leur effet ! 👍🥰
Merci beaucoup... 👍🎹😎
Ive always wanted to play like this... THANK YOU!! ❤
👍🎹😎

Do you have sheet music for this? I'm having a hard time getting the timing for the triplets with both hands.
Thanks for your comment... sorry there's no sheet music for this video.. for counting triplets say 'Sat-ur-day' to myself... hope this helps👍🎹😎
@@jayacoustics9150 Thanks for the reply, I've just about got it down, definitely took a lot time looping the video to get it.

hehehe, I'm currently using your backing track at 100 bpm but modifying the playback speed here on youtube to 0.75 😎
How does one keep the bass rhythm or swing on the left hand going?
Just comes down to a lot of practising... The action of the piano keys also helps...
Teacher ,what about ragtime?
Plese Help. I lerned left hand and right hand.

Yeah love this pity you can’t pdf sheet music obviously at a price
IS THERE A PRINT OUT OF THE NOTES IN THIS RIFF
Sorry, there's no print out of this riff...
Waaah I just can't seem to crack the code on combining the two hands. I can play right hand riff with my eyes closed and in my sleep, but combining it with the left hand doesn't want to come to me.
Please, how to finish the part in the very end of the video? It ends with C, and G, F is missing :(
