    Hello Carol. I must say, I make it a point to watch at least one of your videos daily. 🙂 Thank you! Just a question, are magical crimp tubes special kind of crimp tubes, or can a regular crimp tube be used with a magical crimping plier? Thank you and wish you Merry Christmas!

      Hi Sushma, I'm so blown away that you watch my videos every day. I'm honoured. Thank you. Yes, you can use the magical crimper with other crimp tubes as long as they are 2mm x 2mm. I asked Beadsmith and they told me it's about the wall thickness so if they don't work at first, try another brand. Can you please feed back to me how you go? Just send me an email. Thank you. Merry Christmas.

    I quit making jewelry. It wasn't selling. So many people today selling hand made jewelry, I can't compete. I make jewelry now for family and friends for birthdays and Christmas.

    I just found your channel a few nights ago. I haven't worked with beads or jewelry making in a long time. Well since i had children. They are all grown up now and I'm digging out my beads and gems again. This tool looks very interesting. I'll have to invest in it after the new year. I'm going to be going through your videos and see what I've missed in the last 28 years. Lots of catching up to do. 😅

      Hi Kellie, it's not really in my wheelhouse. I have done bead weaving in the past but it's very slow (for me at least) and I like more instant results, especially if I'm doing a tutorial. You could check out Jill Wiseman's channel - she does excellent bead weaving tutorial. www.youtube.com/@JillWisemanDesigns

    What is your favorite wire for bracelet making

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  5 місяців тому

      That's a great question. It depends on the bracelet and what you're trying to achieve.
      I love memory wire bracelets: ua-cam.com/play/PLPf_M492CDQMyQ0su0peTx5YPJlWJ2sdW.html&si=ObLCAWJ0jisPOxBF
      If I'm making a beaded bracelet I often use tiger tail like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/oss87BNhhLQ/v-deo.htmlsi=lUSfKsnTK666t3C2
      Or if I'm making a bracelet with beaded components I will probably use a 20 gauge half hard wire like I did here: ua-cam.com/video/OUITRG0T_Ko/v-deo.htmlsi=Le8c457hita-dOUd
      I also love stretch bracelets like this one: ua-cam.com/video/74NRwGQVkzE/v-deo.htmlsi=Fhtkeo5X6HSfFYsT

    Hi Carol, I have the magical crimp tool and thought I would love it but I’m frustrated with it. Why am I getting little scratchy wings after I crimp? Any help greatly appreciated. Nan

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  4 місяці тому

      Great question, Nan. I'm not sure. Are you using 2mm crimp tubes? Are you positioning the crimp tube correctly in the little divot? That's seems obvious because I don't think you would put it in the wrong place every time. Does it happen every time? I always go around 3-4 times until the newly formed "bead" is nice and round and all the edges are tucked in. Does any of that help?

  • @user-bm3bo9ov7z
    @user-bm3bo9ov7z 5 місяців тому

    I have 2mm crimp tubes. If I understand the video correctly there is a product that is called magic 2mm crimp tubes and are made to work with the special crimp pliers you demonstrated. Is that right? Thanks!

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes, the magical crimp pliers work with a 2mm crimp tube. They make it look like a bead. The magical crimp tubes are 2mm and work best with the magical crimp pliers however Beadsmith assure me that you can use any other 2mm crimp tube with the pliers.

    I have a crimping tool where you put crimp in back indentation and press, then quarter turn crimp bead and place in front indentation and press. Is this a different crimping tool you are using in this video? Thanks.

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  5 місяців тому

      Yes, I think you have a standard crimping plier which actually folds the crimp tube in half. This one makes it look like a little bead.

      @@The_Stylish_Maker So having this tool would enable to not to have to use a crimp cover? Also, I have tried to use a crimp tube bead to secure Stretch Magic. The package showed I could, but it didn’t hold😕Do you think this style crimping tool would make a good hold?

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  5 місяців тому

      @@user-bm3bo9ov7z I can’t say if you could use it with the Stretch Magic as I’ve never used that product. My gut tells me though that a crimp bead on a stretch cord wouldn’t work. Happy to be proven wrong though. Yes, using the magical crimp tool means you don’t need to use a crimp cover. Here’s a video you might find useful. I use the magical crimp tool at about 17 minutes. ua-cam.com/video/6MNkAZM7xmU/v-deo.htmlsi=H9wcjDsThmOvS9gg
