AHRC blocks women from rights consultation

- The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) says Australian women aren’t qualified to make submissions to its consultation on human rights.
Australian women who oppose male offenders in women’s prison or men in women’s sports are being blocked from submitting to the AHRC consultation on TGD Rights.
The AHRC says it only wants to hear from “subject-matter experts”. They’ve set up a protected platform for activists to call women bigots for standing up for single-sex sports and spaces.

Once again, a magnificent speech. Thank you Claire. I naively thought that the AHRC's duty was to look after the interests of all Australians, but no, the interests of a tiny percentage of the the population, mainly male, come first. Women do not matter in their thinking.
When will all this insanity end?

When i saw a MAN on the NETBALL Court in a Dress i was Shocked. This is Regional. He was 1ft and More Taller and Fully Developed. The SIZE of Him/she difference against the Girls was RIDICULOUS. I Asked quite Innocently WHY is there a Man on the Netball court In a Dress? It Looked Shocking 😮
They intimidate women into saying and doing nothing. Why didn’t the women on the team object and have him removed from the team?
Because the females will be branded trans phobes and kicked off the team. See what happened with Riley Gaines and Lea Thomas in the states.

Shock would have stifled a response to start with, but it is also, currently, against the law for women to do so. Watch out for the Tickle v Giggle constitutional law fight set to be heard on 9th April. That case will be the game changer in recognising biological reality once again.

I'm dubious about lying for a family member, I'm certainly not going to lie for a complete stranger and nobody should be coerced and forced in to that position. AHRC should be ashamed of themselves, not even remotely conducting themselves in a supposed "fair" manner.

I believe in unions, the environment and a lot of labor's policies. But as a lesbian I will vote for the Coalition because of this issue alone. Males are never women nor lesbians.
The Australian Human Rights Commission is obviously as big as a waste of taxpayers money as the New Zealand one. Hopefully our new government will look closely at that commission and many others, regarding their usefulness.

I watch these powerful and articulate speeches from amazing female representatives in countries around the world. I am so pleased that so many of these women speak up and stand up for what is right. However, im curious, just how many of these powerful and articulate women are actually being listened to, and are making absolute positive changes for the better with respect to women and girls sex-based rights? Or are the ever more powerful but inarticulate men of the world just humouring the female representatives by making them feel like they have a little toe at the big boys table? Thank you to this Senator for her powerful words and speeches. I can only hope that here in the UK, we have as powerful a counterpart fighting and hopefully winning the same causes.
