I have found something growing in my yard looking similar to a truffle only it grows above ground. There is only 3 or 4 in my yard. It is brown outside dark brown inside. When cut it looks like pictures I have seen of a cut truffle. It is pretty firm, difficult to squeeze. Any idea what they might be?
