NICEEEEE!!! Welcome aboard @willperryman4559 I'm so glad the actual long form video was helpful for you. shorts are kinda tough for teaching knots because they have to be so short and you have to zoom in on the screen. Thanks for checking out the videos... let me know how your next FG knot works out for you. Thanks so much for tuning in and the comment. really appreciate it!!

I always like to catch a fish or try yanking a snag out before I trim my tag ends, I find it gives you a little less line slippage, but I guess you don't have to worry about that when you make 21 line twists 🤣🤣.

Hahaha right??? I still tighten the line though with my hands... just to make sure... glad you enjoyed the video though!

I wonder if a clinch or improved clinch knot would work better than the modified uni?
Slippage shouldn’t be an issue because it would but up against the fg knot, and it would have a nicer taper.

Hey Gregkosinski... Thanks for tuning in and thanks for the question!! The problem I would see with using a clinch not is that the FG knot doesn't leave anything to loop it through (like the eye of a hook or eye of a fishing lure)... its literally just line wrapped around other line... the beauty of using a uni knot is that this knot (very similar to a whipping knot) can also wrap around just line with no loop. Hope that helps...
