Thanks Rev! This is proof to me that I was right to ignore the mirror universe this month and continue to ignore it going forward. Looks like a nice 2 or 3 months off from STFC.
The state of the game is horrendous at this time. Spend more time restarting the game than playing oftentimes.
more bugs in the game with ghosting, items just not visually staying and so on, it is nuts... I still get lots of people, even me at times with WAVE issues, locking up and so on
As a Star Trek fan I think adding the ability for a ships engineer to do a emergency repairs while away from the station would be a great add to the game.
They sorta did in the exBorg store.
What he misses when he mocks that people have feelings about Data and all new officers being behind a large pay wall is that they took something from players and didn't give anything in return.
They took the free officer we were accustomed to getting each arc. They took away the few officer shards free players could get in syndicate event. They elongated the officer key event and kept it so that it gas to be perfectly completed or you don't get anything. Making so many don't get the reward now. They have taken and taken and taken and ot given anything at all in compensation. That upsets people. They also did not communicate that these changes would be the new policy going forward. So it feels like we free to low spenders only got a middle finger for all they took from us.
A. What's bugging us.
New officers behind large pay walls. Lesser opportunities for officer shards. Some of which are hard or impossible to obtain without payment. Being mocked for expecting what was a normal condition of the game for years to continue.
B. Why.
Scopley took something normal to the game, something all players expected from us without communication and without compensation of equal value. Took it away from multiple access points in the game. Complaints get mocked showing a complete disregard for non paying players.
C. What would I do?
The only way to make it right is to return access to officers and officer shards. As there really is nothing comparable in power or effect in the game with any other mechanic there is really no equivalent offer you can make. So it really has to be officer shards, but as many officer sourcing for old officers is so bad it makes promoting them difficult perhaps give officer shards from a year or more in the place of new ones.
Oh, yes and stop mocking players for expecting game norms to continue and getting annoyed when they are taken. Understand when you take something you have to give equal or greater value.
I will not do mirror verse, not just due to the amount of time it all ready takes to complete the normal things we have been doing for the last 5 years that already take hours to do you add even more and it has become overwhelming.
+1 - i am doing events only, 100/100 boycott of that BS. making ppl do stuff in 20mins, giving so many new currencies and making it hard if you are not paying them. no.

Yup -- and asking the audience for ideas to me came off as - well, if you don't like it - come up with something better. Such a poor attitude to Customer Feedback.
Regarding new Officer Filters - how about a whole set for "Works vs Armadas" "vs Red Hostiles" "vs Players" "vs Bosses" - its still very confusing from the officer ability text when specific abilities work where. Or maybe just redo all the officer ability text and codify a system for easily seeing what they work on?
Where is the PvP arena that was in the 2024 road map? Scopley might find people are more receptive to PvP in a balanced, structured environment rather than, "I hope I don't get ganked while doing PvE." PvP arenas are what the MU or the War Room should have been.
This. PvP sucks, just plain old sucks. It’s not fair, there is no incentive to pvp, there isn’t areas for pvp and it’s honestly boring, especially if you have a server where there isn’t PvP. Keep the ability to PvP everywhere, but it could be as easily as making an area like the Waves area and have it so you have two teams against each other, 5 vs. 5 and have it where they’re similar to a armada or waves, you wait till you fill with your team then have to go kill the other team. It would be broken up in level brackets to make it fair. Why hasn’t Scoply figured out?

@@Spyxops Because the whales wouldnt be able to just beat up on everyone else...thus they would not spend as much money...Meanwhile scopely is driving so many people out of the game it likely wont matter, especially with these guys attitudes
I had an idea that might help with the some of the pain points
Add hostiles that have exocomps and spawn styles similar to actian apex.
1-200% impulse speed (5 minutes)
2-X% increase to mining rate (10 minutes) (i'm not sure what a "good" increase would be)
3-(this one i'm less confident is feasibility) 30s free pass through system or paused timer for 2.5 minutes
and because scopely needs the money a $100 prime research suggestion:
-100% increase in timer for exocomps from hostiles. (f2p cost 1800 dolamide)

@zartanis13 yeah, I've moved to just using ex borg to cover that and other grinds.😄
I'm lvl 50, with a ton of mining research done and MU mining research capped, tier 6 Vorta Vor, with lvl 31 FT, using lvl 15 quark,and 10 of 11, and used SNW Una for speed. Went to the double rss node system. I got 6.8k of raw Tril A.
Killing hostiles, in my tier 7 Ent A, with Ent-e Riker, snw una, 5/11, Dr below. I can get about 99 kills of the lvl 45s which nets me 21-23k.
How is tiger getting almost 10x the amount that I am?
The level of tone def he had when respond was insulting to say the least. He basically said "You are just bad at mining..." Dude probably plays on a live server with a dev account and forgot to turn some cheats off.
At ops 51 you can get the mining bonus to 50000% so it's best to wait until then before mining trellium D

Yeah, but how many common or uncommon are useful and how do they make them useful. I don't want more officers to spend credits on that are less useful than the rare and epics they release that are useless.
Syndicate event jumped up so high to ensure free low spenders could not achieve it as there were more oppurtunities for free players to get more syndicate points this month.
They also avoided answering the syndicate question.
There never going to answer it straight which means there is a new set of levels coming which was only a matter of time, that will eventually reach level 100 with a whole crew of orion officers sourced exclusively through it.

MrTiger seems heavily blinded by bias of his baby, almost to the point of being delusional.
I get that both he and Hampster have to blow smoke for the company, but several comments from both were hilariously unbelievable. I hope they don't actually believe those comments they have to make.

In general, why are the refinery costs all over the place? Not just the MU, but in almost every refinery? In some refineries, 1 pull = X, 2 pulls = 2X, 5 pulls = 5X. But in some, 1 pull =x, 2 pulls = 2.5X or 3X, or looking at the Borg refinery, 2 pulls is about 5X. Why punish players for pulling more?
Just too many currencies and how many more were added in June? I can't remember what they are all called, don't remember where to get them all, don't remember what they all used for-there are just way too many to remember unless this is a full time job, even though it seems like it is a full time job pretty often. I like how some of the new currencies actually have some descriptions, etc. Need to go back and add more info added to all the old currencies.
The new pvp crew should be more consistent in their effectiveness against Freeman crews. However, I think making the new pvp officers lose to the strike teams would bring back the battle triangle, and have a pvp triangle. Bring some balance to pvp.
The majority of my playtime has been reduced to just collecting ... no actual play time ... the game crashes and locks up so often in the refinery and faction stores it takes me 40 mins to an hour of my 2 hrs playtime .... its stupid that they release stuff on a title that's broken and unstable ... of course, this is their idea of listening to the players and offering quality over quantity .... the company lies outright to its players .... It's disgusting.
Samo's voice is just so cute! I remember when she was only a small STFC streamer and I told her she'd be big very soon with her purrsonality! And look at her now!

I appreciate the insight provided by State of the game. Thanks to all! Here are a few suggestions to improve STFC- G6 needs to be separated from G5.
MU vouchers need to be increased or even eliminated. Premium rift tokens need to be easier to obtain.
Live Ops needs to be much better- events need to be more inclusive and much more rewarding (for everyone not just spenders)
I did not enjoy the June arc- Hope July will be much better

Can you guys please add jaylah shards to swarm sunday. Since she is important for swarms. More so than khan and the other officer.
If I'm going to a MU mining system it's to loot the miners. So that's what I'm there for and I love the feature that let's me take everything.
after the first day I skipped the whole event, it was not worth the time making it worthless to ME... I have always done better sitting back, waiting for others to get the lumps and then deal with it later...

I have watched this thought about it, what I believe what is going on for tiger, I have the same issue. Is when you high power for your ops things work differently then someone same ops but lower power. The best suggestion is for him to start cloning middle road players accounts and do a runs with what they have. It would give a different perspective from the average player. Best ie is at ops 41, I go kill 105 to 125 hostiles in mu at a time, and have a hard time understanding why people can't do the same.
It should be his primary or only account IMO

@@greenhatparts6552 I’m familiar with that but there’s a huge difference between switching to an alt account that’s lower level and having to play at a lower level on a daily basis. It’s the difference between visiting someplace and living there. Having to look at features through the eyes of an average player and live that way might make game design realize that some of these features aren’t good for the overwhelming populous

Personally, I want to be able to move below deck officers around in a ship that isn't fully tiered up and doesn't have all the spots opened up.

Ok. Best part of that was when Rev says mining provides no benefits. It was like the lights went off and that guy’s world ended.
BTW, how about the research of the Delta Quadrant of assimilate applies to PVP as well? That may do an old research not useful today a bit useful again
Stability is very odd. I have seen many new glitches, lots of restarting.
The sentence that jumped out to me is “we wanted that quality of life, but didn’t have the tech capacity”. Not only does this show a focus not on quality over quantity but also on doing without considering its effect. Seems like poor choices.
This State of the Game has convinced me to go from dolphin back down to plankton.
I have given enough Ideas and suggestions to make a year's worth of ARCs I guess my problem is I flesh out my ideas too much.
I still believe that a series of ships that you built the 2* version and scrap to get the prints to build the 3* version. Then scrap the 3* to get the prints for the 4*, and so on. This means that you have a chain of ships that grow with you and can be as early as lvl 10 but I would make the build at 15. I also feel that the Dominion or cardassians are perfect themes for warships I think Ferengi would be a good choice also. With Ferengi make the ship the D'Kora class Marauder and use the same BPs but give the ability to build all four ship types with the BPs. Each ship having a type specific build.
Definitely a really neat idea and well thought out!
Love the MU, since Ex Borg and those boosted bundles I’ve lost six loops yippee… needed something to do at upper G5… 20mins is over quick.
More MU content please
reset and increase the timer for mining systems from 20 to 40 minutes. also allow a free go home/exit to the first system in MU where you start in MU. Reduction in upfront cost pre research off cost for entering MU systems or perhaps increase the refinery payouts to x2 payouts. I do like the idea of a Apex style hostel in the systems but it really needs to be worth my effort and time
perhaps near the areas that we need to go warp in or warp out
Hey rev, interesting state of the game, it gave me as a ftp ops 49 some insights into there ideas for the immediate future but little hope. The mu being called rough is a understatement to the point I have mostly disengaged from it and didn't bother with any of the events for it as the rewards for the amount of effort is way off balance. The battle pass this month was so skewed on all the even milestones it was ridiculous and simply not worth trying to finish it apart from for the desealing rods in the overflow. And where was the material reward sms? Giving players a day or 2 of extra syndicate rep for a lot of effort is very meh and means I like a lot of others won't bother with the event. The qol for officer sorting was OK but has little to no real use for me personally how ever if they brought that over to the inventory screens now that would be a proper QOL improvement to shout about especially if we could say exchange a lot of the old defunct currencies for some lat. The last few arcs have been very light for actual events the average ftp player could participate in and has felt like a lot more pay to participate over the usual pay to win. Officer sourcing for the ftp has literally been a joke and that needs to go back to the old method of the rare being achievable in sms and the free track of the months BP with the sms milestones being rebalanced so they are more achievable as well for the auctions of the epic officers as the last officer I was able to unlock which was through pure luck was archer and the list of officers especially epics as that is the main ones they have been releasing that is just unobtainable is ridiculous. They need to put the g5 brackets back to the 2 it was released with as well to entice more g4 players to progress into g5 as well as bump up the rare materials they can acquire to assist with it as well.
I like that they are still working on the team aspect of the game with the MU. Alliances got to work it out and lock down a system

We do have that one already in Away Teams, but would be helpful for upgrading to have it in the officer menu!
A) The quality of life is ridiculous where 5 (as of today now 6!!!) of our alliance members have quit due to just that in the last month.
They had been in the game since the start, and directly blame this year's Arcs.
B) How to fix it. Reduce the amount of time in game, very much like freebooters, but not Xindi which replaced one grind with another one that takes ages.
Honestly, they should add the ability to swap upper deck and lower deck officers on your ship, without having to return to your station. I mean.... they're already on the ship.
Another complaint, just tried the xindi stuff, ops 44 with a fairly well tiered 42 ship. Can't kill one hostile. Seems dumb
Aquatic or Reptile? I'm ops 42 and I can kill a few reptile. Boosted by Cerritos and titan I kill loads. Not bothering with Aquatic til I get NX01

Was MU PVP mandatory? Most people won't attack you in token space unless there is war. Even then people tend to not hit each other in token spaces. War or not. The galaxy is a dangerous place.

I have to know where he is mining and what the crew is. I just checked with my Nova and I’m at 30k/hour…
Here's some ideas to reduce grind time:
1. For missions that are required--instant travel to the next location - the amount of time wasted going to one system, then another system, then another--it's just a waste
2. Inside a mission, where it's a "Kill X hostiles" - let us set it to automatic - or let us set a number of hostiles to autogrind - again, this would reduce the time sink of killing 10 or 20 low-level hostiles.
I don't even really understand the kill x hostiles of y level or in x system. it's just adding pointless grind. have it just be a yellow hostile and move on.
What im upset about is they come out with new grinds instead of investing back into some of the older grinds and keeping some of the specialty ships useful
They should call the pay to finish events “premium” events
just an idea, just kill some special ship u instantly get teleported to some other system, or sticking into time loop, where there is a time limit to reach or do staff, for some reward or get destroyed, or get destroyed 4-5 times the time-space cupture happen u get get too deep system on normal space randomly,
What works for me in the mirror universe. That is an easy one I might do the hostiles FOR AN EVENT, mining is totally off the table and I will NOT pass the entry systems.
If more fog of war BS is added if more hazards are added, that will be a hard quit point as it WILL expand into the rest of the game.
Fog of war helps keep bullying to a minimum.
@@nutznchocolates56 Not sure where you got that piece of fiction. Fog of war just makes it difficult to get to a particular place in the system. If I am in a fog of war system and I go OPL it takes minutes for someone to smack it. On the same account I have left OPL in a non FoW system for over 12 hours before. Though the average time for someone to hit it is about 30 minutes unless there is a steal event then all bets are off.
Fog of War tells you where the good stuff is.
My issue with the MU is the fact there is no protected cargo. No point in going if the work put in can be gone because a player in the G6 economy finds it better to smash the smaller guys for the resources.
It’s the only arc I have not engaged in since arc’s began
Problem- leveling ships, especially irregular ships not used for grinding, ie miners, cerritos, titan, and such take to long to level.
Solution-a new set of systems that have ops/ship level appropriate hostiles that can be used just for auto-grinding xp.
What level are you now? Augment + Texas systems seem to handle this for most
@@RevDeuce I looked in discord officers per ship area. Its so full of so much I could not find a crew to use for any ship other than the pickle, especially one of lower damage like a miner or specialty ship that isn't already leveled highly. If you have a crew suggestion I would love it as I have been trying many crew combinations and none do more than scotch the Texas class paint. I know they are designed to be over powered against other ships. This is why I think we need a range of systems with regular power ships that can use auto grinding. Judging from other creators crew and ship videos, using anything less than the pickle ships like enterprise only would get 2 Texas ships. I'd like something that would get significant unmonitored work done. Right now it seems our choices are to week and to strong.
MU fog of war with lootgoblins and similar stuff, sounds amazing and frustating at the same time. Hope they go that way and find a good system to make it work.
Imh MU is already better then a lot of stuff that came out for a while. But that traveltime, please make it exciting and worth while skippable at the same time for those times you don't wish to invest. ❤
As for the big researches at the end of the MU-tree. It would just be awesome if f2p could slowly unlock some first tier researches instead of it being basically untouched after a whole arc without the feeling it will change in the current situation.
Ps. Syndicate XP event milestones are really bad as pointed out. But Syndi XP income is also all over the place. Please fix that so we don't have to click and search all over just to get all the small bits we are rewarded on daily basis.
Watching the State of the game, I did some mining in MU to give it a chance.
Trillium A, slower mine, 17k per hour. Faster one, 36k per hour.
Ops 50, Vorta Vor t9, level 40, FT mining bonus +75%, Crew mining speed bonus +440%, maxed MU mining research.
Absolutely not worth it 🤷♂️
Re:Feedback in the survey, getting to that level of detail shouldn’t be found/given in free labour 😅
Please ask the devs if they could make a small allicance territory that every allience could own at the same time. On our server there are 7/8 big alliences that have 80+ players and there is not a single way to create a new successfull allience, because no one joins an allience that owns no territory. Iif no players join you woun't have a single chance to get territory. Thats a loop that goes on and it destroys the whole game for me and i guess for many other players too... What is your opinion on this topic?
There was a lot of talk about time and quality of life. As this is a mobile game, I’m very concerned about the type of time being used by both this and waves. They are asking for super focused uninterrupted time of 40 or so minutes a day in 20 minute increments. If you’re not paying attention, you mess up the wave for your alliance or you get blown up with no pc in mirror space. This doesn’t connect with the casual way people interact with this game while on the bus or waiting for their kids karate class to end. Combine this with territory and this is just way too much of a time investment for most people. They are burning us out. Plus I need to click 20 minutes to collect the stuff I’ve already said I wanted on a daily basis. Here is your actionable item: Put in a toggle switch for collecting items. If I spend more than 30 minutes a day in your game auto redeem all the things I’ve toggled to yes.
They need to chill on the loop content and more on the fixing bug
I have stopped buying Battle Passes because they no longer have any significant value for me as a player. Previously, Battle Passes would include new ship blueprints or Officer shards. Those are both things that a player needs to collect one time to unlock and then have no use once completed. Materials and parts are already easily sourced passively in the game, and they are time-gated through the refinery anyway. So there really isn't much value there.
I am a player that likes to engage in events and Battle Passes in general. Offering enough Officer shards and/or blueprints that will give a full unlock when coupled withh full engagement, is far more valuable to a player like me, than Materials which are only temporarily useful.
What works is not going to the mirror universe.
Rev never heard the phrase "chit chat"? Dude, log off STFC and live a little! 😉
Making Data or any future rare is realistic. That used to be reality!
What ops level is MrTiger?
he probably doesnt have to play his own garbage designs and they are garbage. The hubris by scopely has really accelerated
@@sanjonny2 Well, my question is "I brought my Tier 4 Bchor and got 60k" ... are you ops 65 and have maxed mining research? I have a tier 11 Vorta at ops 50, maxed mining research, and I'm getting 41386/hr *in the fast systems (Mirror K'amia) (Fess, Quark, Arrock) .... I cannot imagine the majority of players at ops 50 having a T11 Vorta. 34,716/hr on T9 Hydra and 31k/hr on T8 Bchor. This just continues to show how out of touch with *actual* players that Scopely and it's Devs are. Play as an Ops 45 player with minimal spending and let me know how you enjoy this arc. It's like when Whales say "Oh, you don't need Hugh!" - Player with maxed research and all of the primes completed :facepalm:

As he mentioned he's just built the nova I'd guess ops 51/52 ish, but yea hard to relate to the ftp players as a dev as they would have most of the research and officers needed for the task ready to go.

Problem is that they have let power creep go rediculous with the amount of pc. Perhaps a penalty to PC would allow for a balance? Cut it by 50% to 80% of total. Or a flat -200%base. Sure keep that 1st 2000 Tril-D but the rest are for pirates. It's 20min so won't matter much.
Also what's the effect if they come out with an ability or item to extend the time? Perhaps a consumable that resets that 20min?
Then mining gets crazy and opc hunting will be back on the menu.

Good lord, this ‘tiger’ needs to look beyond ‘I get X’. Plenty of people aren’t seeing the numbers of mining he is talking about, and the incentive that the ‘loot chests mean unlootable loot’ vs ‘I get a chunk of loot and someone takes it’.
I also don’t believe them about the decision to give us extra keys. That was because for a lot of people, it was taking 2 trips to get the needed points. So… yeah. I’m not believing Scopely at the moment. I hear their words, I hear them, I just don’t believe them.
I think i was right about quitting, i thought this video will tell me something about what's coming up in future, but all i see is the same scopely nonsense and repetitive releases, while keeping everything behind a paywall for no less than 4 months to unlock, not to mention old cosmetics that haven't been sourced like G4 miners skins or disco s31 skin
The time is twenty minutes. It takes less the eight minutes for me to kill fifty hostiles. I can leave or I can explore the other systems and test my crews and ships, find my sweet spot, they not hard to kill . Found that i could kill the fifty and then go grind out some faction rep. Nothing too it.
I posted this as a comment but want to see what others think. Bouncing off what @vcc1990 said. The roadmap claimed for PVP arenas.
Right now PvP sucks, just plain old sucks. It’s not fair, there is no incentive to PvP, there isn’t areas for PvP and it’s honestly boring, especially if you have a server where there isn’t PvP. Keep the ability to PvP everywhere, but it could be as easily as making an area like the Waves area and have it so you have two teams against each other, 5 vs. 5 and have it where they’re similar to a armada or waves, you wait till you fill with your team then have to go kill the other team or a objective (defend something/attack something) It would be broken up in level brackets to make it fair. And maybe even have it where if you are not within the level bracket (lower than what that bracket intended) it gives you a warning to accept, and what ever points you get from joining/damage/destroying a ship doubles points/rewards if you’re able to up against higher targets.
Something along these lines I think would be receptive for having the option to go PvP in a controlled / fun way.

Here's another grand idea for the game design people. Maybe, just maybe the rare officers should be unlockable via the battle pass that we pay for for.. Seems appropriate get something interesting rather than the usual filler items. These battlepasses have been incredibly boring and if it weren't for the mats, I wouldn't buy them anymore.

Quantum events are not *harder* they are more *expensive* ... there is a significant difference... it's not *hard* (it's just stupid) to swipe a credit card 20 times instead of 5.
The state of the game is that they introduce features way faster then they abandon them, causing the game to be convoluted and riddled with unaddressed bottlenecks, causing the power level between f2p and (heavily) paying players to become astronomical, making PvP at ops 40+ virtually obsolete. Before introducing yet another currency, expansion, grind loop etc., enhance the stuff there already is. Where is the F2P path to all the forbidden techs? How can I get more upgrade materials for it? Ex-Borg is a step in the right direction, now do something similar for everything else. Heck, perhaps they should simply cut certain aspects from the game entirely if they don't bother keeping it updated. Who still uses exocomps? 200% extra damage does next to nothing with all the stuff that was added recently.
Unless you are at war and exchange miner kills and camping missions and sniping armadas.

PvP in token space is a bad idea. No protected cargo in token space, really anywhere, is a bad idea. Some may say they are so bad they could be called stupid ideas.
This will be an unpopular opinion, and it's coming from an essentially f2p who's played for 5 years and hasn't unlocked the meta officers for PvP (still haven't got Freeman yet) and this know the pain of slower progression and the joys of repairing ships constantly so hear me out.
PvP has a winner and a loser (pixels go bye-bye), players should always weigh the benefits of reward Vs cost to play in it or just ignore it (swarm Sunday, mining Monday) and even when you grind your rear off and plan you can always be unlucky with placement in events (being sniped on an slb on the last minute, losing incursions when a whale forgets to shield etc), this all to say why so much upset with the PvP event.
Admittedly the original scoring for the PvP event was way too tight but why do players feel they should be able to complete every event? Games are for strategy and enjoyment, if you can't complete it or don't feel like it's fun then don't play in it, the uproar in discord can be embarrassing (and this is from a player who on occasion posts flaming dumpster and LesMis 'hear the people sing' GIFs when things have been truly bad).
Through my years of playing I've seen some really awful arcs (and the time before arcs when you had barely anything to do), some terrible glitches (remember when if someone hit your survey whilst mining it could take down your base shield) and also CMs whose only Comms were their introduction before they were captured from the badlands and never heard from again.
I for one still enjoy playing and can see where the game has come from. I'm thankful for the changes and evolution of the game and still excited to see it's continued mission and what is still to come.

i am OPS49 . i have a maxed G4 Miner , i have every possible Mining bonus and the best available mining crew
the amount i get from mining ( even if were possible to sit on a mine for the entire 20 min) is just not worth spending tokens
i rather take my Tier 11 Newton with loot crew and get 10 times more loot from killing Hostiles

I think the developers, or this one in particular simply didn't care about the Potential mining rate of a OPS49 Player - let alone the time you lose until you reach a "faster" Mine. Lets be honest here - putting slower mines in there is a stupid idea in the first place...
The game dev does not play this game. Not really. All of the impulse research we invest heavily in so we don’t have to sit and wait for a ship to slowly cross the system and he actually thinks flying around a system is fun? His view of the game has to be one of the most ignorant I’ve heard. “Physically traveling matters” what a freaking joke. The research and refinery are decent but dang what an utter PITA of a loop and a complete time sink to work it. Mining? Hard. Grinding? Hard. Oh and the higher your ops level the MORE time it takes. Yeah thanks for that.
I’m amazed at all of the ideas and suggestions we submit and then some random casual player on a “small phone” gets just decide that sitting and watching your ship fly across the screen is fun. And after you’ve mined or grinded some a-hole can snipe your stuff and you’re out the tokens and the time with NO PC. WOW. Great idea tiger. Gee. Thanks.

The smoothing of feathers dilutes the disdain people have for this arc's concept. Listen to MrTiger reject negative feedback. Listen to ObsidianHamster reject the negative feedback. Scopley survives by consuming copium. Officer sourcing = I didn't need it anyway. Specific feedback, cancel the Arc, focus on bugs, It is the DESIGN that sucks. Eating my time as a design was moronic. Data should have a free path, the Condensation belies the truth of Scopley's view of players. Syndicate events are not worth paying any attention too.

He has lost touch with the player base, which are not high level players. This is needlessly over complicated with limits on time and travel the exist no where else in the game, nor do they exist in canon.
The best rewards to be delivered 'sometime in the future - aka thoon' will not make this a great loop, it will only make it tolerated..... like other loops in this game.

I have a pet peeve that I think is easily actionable: XP grinding for ships is not fun or reasonable. But especially for surveys it's silly to need to kill hostiles.
So, I think surveys should get XP for mining (or docking, so Amalgams get XP for raiding also).

CrAzyPewl here; I stopped playing about a year ago, but I heard stories from a few friends, so I poked into the last few arc notes, and this vid, and I've never been happier that I left.
Multiple points to get across, so let's get right down to it!
A) Tiger: you're an employee and a shill. You may be a gamer, but your job security and your paycheck come first. The MU itself is a flaming dumpster fire with a cargo hold of whale tears spraying on all the F2P/low spenders in this game. The removal of protected cargo in the MU is the biggest slap to the face to the free/low players since the prime where it delays your base being able to fire when attacked. You even (indirectly) PROMOTED camping/sniping by whales in your arc notes! WHY was the removal of PC in the MU so necessary for this? This HAS to be the worst arc in all of STFC history, maybe ever, and in IMHO, is the true "beginning of the end" for STFC.
How to fix: add PC to the MU and tighten your PvP brackets! An ops 60+ SHOULDN'T be able to vaporize an ops 40-something. That's 2!!! GENERATIONS of ships beyond what they're hitting.
The research tree seems decent. Tweaks need to be made, especially with the payouts of trellium and premium dust.
B) EVERY SINGLE PRIME AND CASH STORE ONLY ITEM previously released AND coming in the future need an IMMEDIATE FROM DAY 1 F2P path to obtain. Yeah, make it take a while (remember the full year lock for the original d'vor?), but make it OBTAINABLE! You're just pushing the power disparity between the whales and the F2P/low spend players even wider. I get you don't care about them, but if they leave, then your whales have nobody to feed on, and they they'll disappear, too.

C) STOP FORCING GAME-WIDE PVP!! Yes, there are players who enjoy it, and there are those that don't. I get both sides. However, turning every single system into a Star Trek-themed scene of the Purge is NOT the answer! Use the PvP arena that was in a recent roadmap, or Heaven forbid, use different systems for different brackets like you do for other events! You should also introduce non-PvP ways to contribute to the War Room event - maybe alliance donations?
D) PvP bracket tightening - have I mentioned this already? 🤔
E) All the useless items in inventory need a way to be redeemed or exchanged. What am I going to do with 60k of a Picard-event-themed loot that I forgot to spend before the store ended? (Yeah, get your LOLs in; I can handle it)

The Game Designer got it: "it is a mobile game. you have to tap with your fingers. it isnt an pc game." - with this understanding, I cant follow the thoughts of Scopely, forcing us nowadays up to 5-6 hours xtaying ingame to play the game.- the mirror universe is in its actual case just another annoying ingame forcing feature. boring in its mechanic, and a time eating flight there.
more and more refineries are introduced in past, because we players cant effort the ingame time, this game need nowadays. - but is this the way of Scopely? ...... giving us the opportunity being faster done by refineries, while we get new time eating features?
