I remember having the same concern of being so close to the lions while in the jeep on our safari. Our tour guide replied by saying, "Don't worry. They don't like canned food!" haha.
Anna Mog Hello! My name is William and I vlog in Miami with my gorgeous girlfriend, come check them out and subscribe if you enjoy them! Thanks. I fly my drone 😊
I just wanted to thank you for being the type of person that is the light of my day. I always know I can turn to UA-cam and see that there are plenty of people like you who brighten the lives of others and live their lives with meaning and love. You have such an amazing outlook on life and that's something people looking at the news daily crave. You are and always will be an inspiration for me.
it's so awesome that literally every video of you doesn't only show you going somewhere but you truly feel like being there! keep up the amazing work, big love and thanks for your daily motivation!
Hi Louis, I like your videos. You have the chance to visit places and talk to so many people. I would like to see more exchange with local people and understand how they live. Make your videos not only about the beautiful landscapes but also real issues: conservation issues; the drought in East Africa; discussions with your driver. This is just my humble opinion but I believe it will help me to be more connected with your content and feel I have learnt and discovered something new.
Agreed. Not to mention the conservation refugees of indigenous peoples who have to emigrate off of their ancestral lands as a result of "conserving" these "safari" areas
i make mini documentaries. it's mostly about people's wonderful stories and experiences and passion. it would be nice if you take a glance. have a nice day
Louis never really connects to people, he has friendly chats, shows the beauty of a country but never really dives into a country, never shows the negative sides, hence he only give a very superficial view of the locations he visits, but I guess that's why his channel is called "fun for louis". I don't blame him for this, but I guess this is one of the reasons why he gets only a small number of views per upload.
Louie ! This quality is impeccable - colour grading, drone shots and camera is so ace! Really highlights Kenya in true love the adventure style !! You have inspired me to move Canada 🇨🇦 so thank you !
You really blew my mind today with what you did! After listening to Scott for years on Safari Live, the lions you came across are habituated to the vehicles and they don't associate danger with humans during the day but at night, it is usually a totally different story. I was shocked that you were allowed to chase the animals on the river bed with your ATV's...I guess they do things differently there than at other lodges but I am surprised considering what Scott has told us over the years as a guide with Wild Earth. I always remember how wonderful the food was with its presentation at all the lodges I have visited during the 3 years I traveled to Africa. So, again, thanks for the memories. Take care.
Keep up the great content and all the "different styles of adventure"s you do.... most of us appreciate the different types and styles of adventures you choose to undertake
Imagine if Louis didn't have the gimbal during all those quad bike shots! It would be so bumpy. You gotta love the behind the scenes tech working the magic :D
I live in Kenya but cant find time to visit these places often. Am going to change that. On another note, Louis should do a meet-up in Nairobi before leaving. You got viewers from this part of the world too. :)
Omg that baby lion and his mother, so cute! I just got back from New Zealand at the beginning of March and I'm dreaming about my next trip and I think somewhere in Africa will have to be next. These vlogs are giving me some serious inspiration. Absolutely love your videos, Louis!
I LOVE your footage!! It's so good! And every day it makes me inspired to get out in there and do something. It shows how amazing and diverse the planet is. Thank you 😊
hey I accidentally found your channel ..best accident ever 😀😀. im kenyan born living in sweden next time you should also visit the coast and stay at swahili beach resort ...all the best❤
Great video and have enjoyed watching your adventures. I just invested in your movie on Kickstarter and hopefully will see you at the LTA Summit in November!
Louis, to answer your question as to how safe it is to be that close to the lion... When you are in the jeep, it's actually quite safe really. Lions (and any other big animals for that matter) view the car as one single entity, they do not distinguish that there are (edible) humans inside. It is when you stand up (or in your case on top of the jeep :) ) that they realize what they are really dealing with and that can lead to a dangerous situation. Good that the rangers had you come back down. Overall, though, as long as you're in the car you should be safe. No matter how fierce the lion, they know they can't take down this giant beast of a jeep. I've had rhinos brush up against my land cruiser and a lion's tail pat against the door right next to me. I'm glad you got to experience something like that as well. Cheers!
Hi Mister Louis ! I was looking for videos about The Safari Collection ( we were there to work and make videos too) ...YOU DID AN AWSOME WORK , NIce and dynamic videos ...but you know it right ? A french Famly of travelers who can't anymore covid ...
If it were me going to a safari, the vlog would consist of a lot of whining from heat, scratching everywhere from endless mosquito bites (always happens to me when I venture outside), and horrific sweating. Really happy I can live vicariously through you!
Great shots and looked like loads of fun! I'm not sure why so many people are being so negative, but that is the trade-off when you vlog to a wide audience.

The first of your vlog reminds me of Madagascar :))))
Haters gonna hate! Louis, shake 'em off.
You nearly crashed the drone bro 😂
