Without a doubt she WAS Carly to me. She was MY Carly. As for whether SBrown was "The Queen"...debatable. Seeing how mature Tamara made Carly and how much Carly grew with Tamara in the role... That's how I gauge who was the best in the role. I was a Sarah Brown fan, but that was until Tamara came into her own as Carly. And she will always be to me.

Maurice/Sonny was so damn gorgeous back in 2004 and still is! I also loved Tamara as Carly, she was my fave. Loved S&C together and they are still my #1 couple, although I really liked Sam & Sonny too because they were so hot together. I remember being very conflicted over S&C and SamSon lol.
I have always enjoyed watching Sonny....but he did break my heart when he hurt both women (Sam and Carly) at the time.... And Jason has always been a Champion of Kids and their wants & needs. He did it for Michael and the most recent....he has brought Sam home for Danny and Scout.....I just adore his level of maturity..... For me....the best Carly is LW.....She is fiery and most closely in Age with Jason and not so far off with Sonny.....at least by appearances....
Sonny/ sam do make a great couples I'd love to see their daughter and grandchildren later on future tv series .I hope they bring lila back to life just like they did with Jason son Jake?

Laura Wright has said many times she's playing her Carly closer to the original. Which means she's not taking into consideration Tamara and Jennifer Bransford. As for Sarah's "toughness" in the role. I never believed in that toughness. She played Carly closer to being a gutter snipe. At some time the character has to grow or else the character becomes stale and should be written off. Tamara breathed new life into the character, which is the reason Laura Wright is wrong in the part.
I wish they get rid of Laura Wright and get rid of Sarah Brown as Claudia. Let them think that Carly and Claudia are dead then bring back Sarah Brown as Carly.
