Gabriele, Good to see the next step in the process of creating your new deck. Obviously they didn't need to vacuum seal the stern section. They just used weights. So how many sections can they install only with weights to compress them? I would think maybe the smaller pieces. Like those in the cockpit? Also, last week I wondered how the seal would be made perfect. But this week it is clear that the seal is never perfect or else you would only need to run the vacuum pump until a vacuum was created - then turn it off. Also, never seeing this done before, I didn't understand why the thick "felt" cloth was put under the plastic. But then I realized that it allows the air to flow from far away from the place the vacuum hose is connected. That is very simple actually! Again I am already excited to see what happens next week!
+S C Yz by! Small pieces and cockpit didn’t need vacuum, only weight. 200/300 kg for 24 hours..and you are ok, under vacuum the glue arrive to 1,5 mm height with weight about 2-2.2 mm The long one need vacuum because curved and get best adhesions!!!
