  • World Record Holder Marcin Maskow Kowalczyk attempts to solves 50 Rubik's Cubes blindfolded! According to Marcin, it takes a combination of pure memory skill, spatial imagination and fast fingers to pull it off. No magic involves, just 4 years of practice! +zack keziah no thats not right, the thing he did here is insanely more difficult than that. blindedfolded solving is hard but its much easier than people think it is, there is a certain method that u use to solve a cube blindfolded where it is easier to memorize the location of the pieces and where they need to go. A lot of people can learn to solve a cube blindfolded with enough practice, but memorizing 50 different cubes like this guy did in the video just takes an insane amount of practice and skill.

I have to hand it to this guy, he is one of a kind to be able to solve this many blindfolded.

    To all non cubers: please shut up. This is not fake. Other people can do stuff like this. He doesn't see beyond the blindfold, no one is telling the solution through the earphones, the cubes are scrambled all in a different ways. He has lots of cubes because he uses them to practise as he's doing here. And missing a a cube isn't a big deal, that's a 48 point multiblind. Don't talk about things you don't know just because you are disappointed this guy is doing something you thought wasn't even possible. It is and maybe if you weren't so invidious you could learn as well. Solving cubes isn't an innate talent. If you don't know how to solve one stop trying to do it in stupid ways and just watch a tutorial. It will take maybe one or two hours to learn. If you continue trying to put colors together I'm afraid it will take your entire life and you'll never get it anyway. And neither solving cubes blindfolded is an innate talent. No innate memorisation skills required. EVERYONE can learn how to do it. Stop judging without knowing, pay respect, inform yourself about what you are supposed to do in order to do a multiblind attempt and maybe one day you will solve 60 instead of 50. If your unique scope is to say it's fake because otherwise you'll feel an inferiority complex.. poor you.

    I dont know how to solve the cube blindfolded, but i guess he uses around 10 objects to represent every cube. and since for memorizing a card-deck u need to remember 52 objects. this is like memorizing around 10 card-decks. World record at memorizing card is 59 decks in like 5 h. So seams like this is about the same information/h as card memory experts.

    • @Deathranger999
      @Deathranger999 9 років тому +2

      You know more than most people. Every piece has a letter or symbol assigned to it. You memorize the order you need to swap the pieces in, and link the letters or symbols together to form words or equations or whatnot. With words, you can create a story that you can follow, which makes memorization much easier.

    • @brettjennings1069
      @brettjennings1069 9 років тому

      no offense to either of you but can either of you solve a rubiks cube and if it were like like memorizing a card deck then each color would be a card 9 colors on each face 6 faces 50 cubes so 2700 cards or approximately 52 decks world record being 59 decks as you stated but then it would be like the guy that did that then rearanging each set of 54 cards in a certain order in under an hour so it is most likely much harder than the way you put it

    • @Grass89Eater
      @Grass89Eater 9 років тому +1

      well the 9 colors / side is kind of a illusion. The cube consist of 20 pieces (8 corners and 12 edges).

    Cuber here, also a video editor. When you speed up the clip, it is extremley easy to cut, and nobody will notice. No, but he has to memorise the starting positions of each cube, it boils down to remembering a bunch of numbers (or letters etc) per cube. Then he goes through the moves for each cube based on the starting positions for each cube

    Wow. I can't even solve ONE rubix cube! I tried once and after 3 hours, I just gave up and threw the cube at the wall. And this guy just solved 50 (well 49) BLINDFOLDED! If that isn't impressive then I don't know what is.

    This, is legit
    Just from the first cube, I saw he was using M2 for the edges (due to lots of M slice turns), and out of 50 cubes, u have to memorize around 18+ for each cube, so basically maybe he made a long story with 400 words (through Speffz Memo scheme)
