- It's my homage to the intersection of art and logic. It's the fractal child of the circus in my head. It's a magical accident of the cosmos, cubified and reduced to a 6 minute 9 second montage for your viewing pleasure. It's the one, the only, 34x34.
If you’re interested in purchasing the 34x34, you can reach me through my business email - matt@mattbahner.com
Mass : 44.5 kg (98 pounds on the surface of earth)

This is insane! It’s been so long since we’ve gotten a new WR largest NxN. Great to see you back in the game!
Hi Noble Cubes! But yeah, new nxn record is insane!
Im more surprised that he went with an even size instead of odd. He could prob use this with 35 if he was able to fit the dimensions but instead he only did +1 layer for record sake
Noble!
Its been like 8 years
Cool!
The fact that you chose to make an even layered cube (a FAR more complex design) rather than stepping up by one and making a 35x35…
You are mental. And you have earned my respect.
Any X*X*X that is even layered is essentially a ODD layer with the center layer hidden
@@darknessbladesYes, which means he could've added a layer without much more difficulty... and he didn't.
I was hoping to see a comment mentioning this.
Meaning on top of making a 34x34 he also made a hidden 35x35
I do not understand. But I like what u guys are saying.
making it just one layer bigger than the previous record is pretty funny. Even cooler is the fact that it's an even layer, which adds a reasonable amount of complexity.
hi cool piston door person :)
Which Means...
A 35 by 35 is Possible!!🤯
Yes. It is much harder to assemble because of the teeny tiny pieces inside that are the hidden middle layers of a 35x35
@@NasrinSultana-pw5ir This pretty much is a 35x35 with hidden pieces to make it a 34x34. If he made this then he could easily make a 35x35 which would actually be easier to make then the 34x34 was.
@@NasrinSultana-pw5ir a 35x35 would have probably been easier lol
Not only did you devote all the time to create this, but you filmed and edited the process so beautifully. Thanks for sharing
The fact that this is an even layered cube is just insane
All gigantic cubes are even layered, for whatever reason they’re easier to make
@@olzwheat3398 that is actually wrong
@@olzwheat3398 This is just wrong. It’s a lot easier to assemble and design odd layered cubes. Almost all the largest cubes ever were odd layered. For a while 17x17 was the record, the largest production is 21x21, and the largest before this was 33x33
@@olzwheat3398 even layered cubes have internal pieces which act as a middle center so the most mass produced even layered cubes end at 10x10 or something. Thus odd layered cubes are much easier to make than even layered so its really insane that he actually made itm
When you make an even layered cube, you more or less have to design the odd layer cube above that because of the design challenges they pose. (so, a 6*6 is basically a 7*7 in a 6*6 shell.) There's a good video about this by J Perm.
this is actual art. the level of genius this is takes is insane
At a loss for words… This is the most amazing twisty puzzle I have ever seen. The turning quality is far beyond anything I thought was possible at this scale. Incredible work Matt
We have you to thank for how far it’s gotten now
You made the 22x22x22 right?
can you make 23 x 23 megaminx
That one unemployed friend on a Tuesday morning:
You are one crazy dude!! Can I please come visit one day? 😍
Hi Tingman!
I wanna visit him too! Hi Tingman! Can you review the GAN 5x5?
Tingman!!!!!
He better let ya
Hi tingman I’m a big fan
Without doubt my second favourite puzzle of all time.Truly magnificent. The technical description is - The unofficial highest order cube in the world.
First being the largest 3 by 3 I assume?
Your're the person who made the largest 3x3 right?
@@HussainAlqallaf-n2n , he previously held the record for world's largest 3x3x3, but not currently. He does still hold the record for the smallest 3x3x3.

can’t wait for the 34x34 magnetic maglev core mangnets version
We're still waiting for 21x21 magnetic
obviously gonna be mass produced by yours truly

@@thatsleepybirb can’t wait
With uv coating, reppeling edge magnets and magnets that repel the corner stems, each piece has an adjustable magnets, then max park getting a 50 second solve with it
DianSheng will release soon. Prepare 1 million. dollars to buy this cube.
Holy moly what gem did I just stumble upon? Besides the incredibly cool workspace, the engineering crammed into this 6 minute video alone, is masterful and communicated in a way the viewer can easily understand. I can't even imagine the problem solving that needed to happen.
Not to mention the cube collection, the art, the music, the pacing - I can go on. What an incredibly well made video.

Wow! What an incredible achievement. My mind is so blown. 🤯🤯
rare redkb appearance
Why don’t you make anymore videos? I was a huge fan.
an achievement so legendary it made RedKB actually remember his UA-cam password
bro respawned just to put this comment
you're still active?
This deserves the craziest number of views and likes. . . I’m blown away at not only the complexity of the project, but your sheer will and determination to accomplish something of this magnitude. 🤯🤯
Definitely earned my Like & Sub. 👍🏼👍🏼
"It's the fractal child of the circus in my head" is such a wonderful quote.
2:42 nah this hits different
I refuse to believe this was fully FDM printed and turns so good!!!!! Actually insane, it's so awesome to see how far your puzzle designing and home 3D printing skills have come to manifest this! Truely amazing!!!!!!
I know! It turns so much better than the 33x33 lol. Matt really is the god of big cubes! (Making wise)
I am speechless 😶. And the 18x18 still hasn’t come out 😂
¡How come this doesn't have A MILLION VIEWS IF IT'S AMAZING!

Genius!
The amount of work put into designing it, setting the machinery to print every part, cleaning up the pieces, then assembling the cube itself, not only in a classic timelapse manner, but also in this stop motion that requires so much more time and thinking, truly a work of art!
I love it, the cube itself looks really great and pretty good for the pressure of all those layers must exert on each other. 98 pounds? Just wow.
I can't wait to see one of my favorite cubers out here getting his hands on it and try it.
Thank you. On behalf of all of us puzzle nerds, puzzle inventors, dreamers of fun, boundary breakers, and adults with forever kids hearts; I applaud you and your endless work. Keep putting the world in awe, my friend.
The fact that it's an even layered cube is so cool
yeah i was surprised no one else pointed that out,
What is a layered cube
@@lylahsworld3930 he meant that the layers on the cube were an even number not that it was “even a layered cube”
@@-ShanWasTaken- ah, I see, what makes an even layered cube different?
@@lylahsworld3930 a regular 3x3 cube and other odd layered cubes have center pieces where the screws are to help keep the cube intact, on an even layered cube the center pieces and middle edge pieces have to be hidden beneath the main pieces so its harder to make pieces that move underneath the pieces that you see on the surface
This is astounding! It turns so well! And considering that you had to rework every single piece is mind-bogling!
Bro this is straight up insane
Insane! good job matt!!!!
i bet the speedcubing world wont stop talking about it
I love it, this is insane
I'm an engineer and recently got in to Rubik's cubes. I truly admire engineering work behind this masterpiece! Hats off!
@kyostihuhtala951
The prototype of the Rubik's cube was made of 27 wooden blocks; It took Rubik a month to figure out the solution to the cube problem. Starting with pieces of wood and rubber bands, Rubik set out to create a structure that would allow individual pieces to be moved without the whole structure falling apart. Rubik originally used wood for the cube because of the facilities in the university workshop, and because he saw wood as a simple material to work with, it did not require sophisticated machinery. Rubik made the original prototypes of the cube by hand, cutting the wood, drilling the holes, and holding his invention together with elastic bands.
The Hungarian docent Ernő Rubik, showed his prototype to his class and his students really liked it. Rubik realized that the simple construction of the cube made it relatively easy to manufacture and could appeal to a larger audience.
Finally, Rubik managed to find a small company that worked with plastic and made chess pieces. The cube was originally marketed in Hungary under the name "Bűvöskocka" and became an instant success worldwide, winning the Game of the Year award several times. Over 350 million Rubik's Cubes have been sold to date, making it one of the best-selling toys of all time.
This cube is a symbol of your dedication and passion in puzzle making. It's physical proof that time and hard work will pay off
You turned assembling a cube into an art form. Incredible ❤
i never thought this will happen, and it looks better than the 33x33, love the stickerless shades!
Incredible, amazing to finally see a new record!
The fact it's an even numbered puzzle when you could've easily done a 35x35 with the same amount of pieces is just impressive
Get this man a resin 3d printer
The stop motion was soooo cool!!! Loved the video!!
Its not just a new NxN size wr, its not just well turnable, its not just even numberd... ITS ALL THOSE THING COMBINED!!!
Incredible Work Matt, looking forward to the other videos!! :DD
God damn. I hope this gets ratified by Guinness World Records soon! Congrats dude.
The assembly sequence was so cool. Congratulations on this achievement 👏
This is history and I’m glad I can see it so soon
This is amazing, and such beautiful presentation. I am truly in awe!!
Yeah but can you believe they made a 17x17! Over the top!
Seriously though what an insane puzzle. The fact that it’s that smooth is mind boggling.
Is that a Meta profile picture?
PROG METAL FAN SPOTTED
This puzzle turns incredibly well for something that size. Unbelievable.
This is an amazing piece of engineering

This video should have at least 10 Million views
Million comments yet nobody talks about the beauty of the piano music!❤
The time lapse was so satisfying to watch. In particular because of the perfect harmony with the piano music: the internals look so much like a piano!
Fantastic work!
Yoooo that spins so well, and the custom flipping table. Very impressive
I remember meeting Matt back in 2015 during the US nationals in Hilton Head Island, SC. Super chill dude, and wicked smart. It’s awesome to see him achieving new heights.

1 hour ticket I should get before 5 minute ticket
I'm here when video was 4h ago. But 4-3 = 1. So can I still get the ticket?
I haven’t been into cubing in almost 10 years, but as soon as I saw that title and thumbnail, you brought me back to early high school and I HAD to watch. Congratulations dude, this is crazy. Massive respect 👌
You just got yourself a new sub.
This is simply incredible. Amazing work and achievement. Well done.
Can't wait for someone to try and solve this
this is actually INSANE! especially for an even numbered big cube!
I do wish there were more of these available. I want it so bad! I mean, I probably can’t lift it, but it’s beautiful!
I like how the weight is specified "on the surface of Earth" implying it will eventually reach other planets 😂
An incredible accomplishment - mechanics and artistry combine in this magnificent piece. The puzzle exceeds what I thought possible! HE DID IT!
Bro this needs to be in mass production right now
respect that this guy actually made the cube 🔥🔥
The fact that it turns so smoothly is amazing.
This man is on the way to the first ever 100x100 that will probably ever exist. It's amazing.
Impressible craftmanship and impressive editing
Human ingenuity is truly amazing
Dang, that’s incredible WORLD RECCORD!!
GG you broke the WR for the largest cube wow thats incredible
올해본 최고의 예술작품이네요 만들어가는 과정과 배경음악까지 정말 최고의 영상이네요. 아 한국어 모르실것 같아서 good!!
Wow thats amazing!!! You’re truly a one in a million puzzle designer!!
that turns so much more smooth than one should realistically expect from such a massive design with such small pieces
A timelapse of all the different pieces being built in different patterns??? You are far too kind to us.
This is phenomenal.
An EVEN-LAYERED CUBE!? I'm shocked. This has to be by far the world's largest even-layered cube, and it's insanely smooth for being 3d printed!
BEAUTIFUL I cannot wait for the documentary. I'm so excited to hear everything.
NO WAY!!!! YOU JUST BROKE THE WR!!!!
This is an incredible achievement!
1 turn is probably the only time that combination will ever happen in existence, that’s insane.
The fact that you built this and the fact that it turns. You're amazing!!!!!
The 3d printing and post processing of the thousands of pieces is just mind boggling 🤯
this is actually insane. the puzzle is like half the size of you
I wanna see someone roll up to an actual competition with this beast. Obviously there'd be no official category for it, but it woukd make for one heck of an exhibition.
this it's not just th wr for the biggest NxN, this video is a masterpiece
The fact that it turns nicely is amazing in its own right. But this looks like it took so long. I am amazed by your perseverance, good job!
Man could've made his life easier by making a 35×35 instead he made a 34×34. Mad respect
Most satisfying cubing video in the history!
What a monster, what a magnificent and extraordinary puzzle. Excellent work Matt.
This is dedication. This is art. This is beauty.
the perfect starter cube
Holy crap dude!! This is insane! You are such a legend! 🙌🏻 Huge congrats on your big achievement!
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Very glad you did.
FINALLY!! Some has dethroned Greg’s 33x33. Let’s freaking go. Incredible job man, truly incredible. 👏👏👏
The video editing blew my mind!
The only thing I find more impressive about the 33x33 is that it had stickers, but wow what an accomplishment!
That is so cool! It’s massive!
My favorite piano piece ("Clair de lune") was the perfect touch to this amazing video. I would make an offer to add this to my 400+ Rubik's cube collection, but whatever I could offer would be far less than what you deserve for creating and building this amazing and beautiful piece of art. Looking forward to the other videos on it!
It's amazing, you had to create an entire production line to build this thing.
this dude is actually going to be the first builder of a 100x100. MARK MY WORDS
edit: just realized i posted a comment basically the same 3 months ago. I have the same mind still lmao
What a pure piece of craft, mindblowing
This is SO cool. My brain needed a full restart aswell as a clean install of Windows after trying yo understand the planning that went into this. SO SO cool!!! Amazing!
You cant do this to me! I have adhd!😢 I clicked the video to see a big rubiks cube. Now you made the build of it so satisfying. 😭😭😭
Instant subscription from me. This is crazy. I can't imagine how much time and effort went into this invention. I am sending this video to all of my friends, cubers or no, and telling them to share it too. You deserve so much more recognition for this beast of a project. This video deserves to go viral. You are amazing, and I admire your dedication to this. Keep on going dude, you're awesome.
Also, is this a world record?
