Samsung started to roll-out the first beta of OneUI 6.0 based on Android 14 to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra, In this video I will show you 25 more features that I didn't mention before, I sideloaded OneUI 6.0 Beta 1 on the S23 Ultra to show you all the new changes.

I feel like they are not done with the media controls and in one of the next betas or the finished version the none expanded media controls will have the album art taking up the whole thing also
I hope so, I really like the way it looks so would be nice to have it always expanded. It’s also just one less tap to use the controls
Yeah, there are several posts on the Samsung forum too so they will hopefully change it.
i hope they will make more changes to the media controls, also I wish they make it like on iOS when on lockscreen you can make the album cover big for example.
Glad to see many of these features. Though most of them were in iOS, bringing them to android was a good decision. And few more new additional things are amazing as well. Expect the Quick Settings panel looks opposite to One Ui theme. They should bring a proper One Ui themed Quick Panel. It was better before when when were able to click on text of those toggles to get more control or option. Now it's just doesn't make sense. Also swiping back to home looks weird. Hope they fix those and polish them more by the official release

1:01 Drag and Drop while in split screen was already there in Android 10. But they made it better now. Which they should've done earlier but it was Apple who did it.

New Quick Panel looks nice, but that's all. Now everything is higher, so you can't use it with one hand on bigger screen. Also option to change place of these sections would be great, as I prefer section with small icons to be at the bottom.

Not sure about one ui 6 but with one ui 5.1 in the control panel area, instead of pressing and holding to get more options. You can tap on the text underneath the button to do the same thing. For example instead of tapping and holding the wifi toggle to get more options, you can simply tap on the text thay says "wifi" below it and itll do the same thing. Its just quicker that way

I've had predictive back gesture on One UI 5 since, and it works on YT Music, Google Tasks, and Keep Notes
Not sure because it's part of Android 14 as per the release notes and I got it on my Pixel with Android 14
@IDTR Yeah but I have it in developers option on my S20, and S20 wouldn't even get Android 14.
There's a difference between this one and the one I mentioned, the one in Android 13 works only when you quit the app but this one works when you move between pages as shown in the video, can you confirm if u see the same behavior I showed in the video? Just open Google's phone app then go to settings and try to go back

samsung needs to lower the transparency (not blur) of the quick setting panel. And some dark-colored texts like dark red are not looking good at all as you can see in the video. When he long pressed the flashlight, there was a "done" button which has too dark color over the black background which doesn't go well with each other.
2:32 I already have this since OneUI 4. Oh well maybe Samsung's testing these features in GoodLock, then they add it in stock UI if data shows people are using it or other companies implement them first on their stock UI.

I hope in beta 2 notification appears like a carousel from the bottom of the lock screen (like ios16) and the live activities widget (soccer score, maps, timer)

There's no comparison between the two as the s23 u and p7 pro the s24 u will extend that lead even further
Can you confirm the clone app feature is gone for good?
there must be an option to change samsung keyboard's vibration precisely in ms (like in g-board). hope you provide this info to the devs as one of the suggestions in feedback
Can already do two-hand drag and drop in OneUI 5.1.1, likewise with predictive back animation in Developer Options. Reminders have also been in the Calendar app for a long time. The Bixby Voice Call greeting option is available in 5.1.1.
All these features are part of Android 14 as per the release notes of A14 and OneUI
@@IDTR The features I mentioned are part of Android 13 OneUI 5.1.1 or earlier per my actual use of the Fold 4 running 5.1 and the Fold 5 running 5.1.1 sitting in front of me.
Predictive back gestures are embedded into system in Android 14. Now you don't have to enable a toggle in dev settings
@nickthaskater Predictive back gesture is in Android 13, but only when exiting the app, not when going back to the previous screen within the app. This is exclusive to Android 14.
I hope they bring back tap on the text in the control center
the.notifications with the flash that have never been changed nor do they give options to change the.blinking

Hi sir, I am a fan of your channel and a have a tech channel of myself. I have installed the one ui beta setting your channel. It is nice. But I don't like the notification panel. Can you show a busy to downgrade the rom. I would like to collaborate with you some day

I hope this new version fixes the late notifications issue that's existed forever. My 13 pro notifications occur within 30 seconds, but my Galaxy S23 plus takes 3-5 minutes to get the notification. It's even worse when the lock screen is active
Android phones or Samsung devices because I use one at times, tend not to push notifications until the phone is unlocked, I have encountered this same thing over and over again

It's an Android problem, not just Samsung phones. Android 14 is planned to fix all of those delayed notifications.

MiUi in my opinion is quite capable and some of the features such as the magic eraser and sky change were included in miui well before Google and (the sky change feature especially) works so much better on it.

@@IDTR yes, that's new indeed.
The drag and drop feature was mostly designed for tablets and foldables, since with a bigger display you are more likely to use splitscreen. Now in One UI 6 while you hold onto the text or image with one hand you can use the other to navigate between apps, making it much more mobile friendly, not requiring having both apps opened at the same time.
I'm unable to access themes or icons from anywhere in One UI 6. it's really annoying.
Can the wifi and Bluetooth toggles be scale down to make them like the others?

When making and receiving a call on the galaxy buds 2 pro it doesn't work on the one UI beta 6 on the S23 ultra
I think you can control that on the earbuds sittings in the dedicated smart things app.

Samsung made a mistake by releasing it to the public, everyone is gonna think that Samsung phones are garbage because of this new experimental software update,
Just wait for the stable version, your phone will stutter glitch and many bugs until the main version is out.
Not saying it's your fault for updating but it's samsung's fault.

What about the widgets?, Apple did a straight copy in iOS 14 and it was much worse, no scrolling or interaction and after 3 years with iOS 17 it's finally interactive and still no scrolling, all of them copy each other in my opinion and sometimes they make it a straight copy, sometimes better sometimes worse
@@IDTR you’re wrong. Apple did their own version of widgets not looking like the ugly android ones, they offered a cleaner, non distracting look and guess what android did later on? Copied the design of Apple’s widgets of course, cause before they were just a chaotic mess. Apple introduces features when they know they’re ready, opposite to android that just throws everything at the wall and see what sticks. Sick approach in terms of OS imo.
