Dear Maxime, the unit "Extract % w/w" equals degrees Plato. However, we called it like this because strictly speaking only the original extract reading before fermentation kicks in is defined as degrees Plato. During fermentation the EasyDens determines the apparent extract, which is defined as "Extract % w/w" according to literature.
Would you have an instrument like this or similar, portable, that is used, for example, for example, that you are no longer using, with a lower value? Would you sell it for a symbolic value of $100 or make a donation to me? I have been unemployed here in Brazil since 2016, I am an industrial chemist, I have 15 years of experience in fuels and quality at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. I am trying to get back to work. I'm trying to set up my own lab. I ask for this help! Thank you very much in advance!
To have to pay a yearly subscription for the app to fully use the product you just bought and paid a pretty penny for is just down right morally corrupt. Thus company need to have a good hard look at itself. Even tho I can afford one certainly will not be purchasing one anytime soon simply for this fact. Dusgusting

Can I get the alcohol content of a product after sugar has been added to it, i.e., the ABV of neutral spirits with apple juice added to it?
Can you get the sugar content of the alcoholic beverage when sampling?
